Why bother capatalizing the first letter in every word?
The green armor that Jango wore was Jaster's armor. Jango later recevied the blue and white armor.
in the jedi war (i think)(when jaster died) jaster and jango fett where wearing green armor but jaster's had a cape thats wat my friends say they have all the jango fett comics but i dont believe it.
And Who Did He Recieve The Armor From.montrose?:/
Draco's right, Boba's armor was Jaster's at one point.
Montross was Jango's arch rival, I highly doubt he gave him armor. Plus, I don't think Montross is Canon...
I just assume Jango got new, or as new as he could get, armor. Perhaps Jaster even gave him some armor as well.
In Open Seasons it shows that Jango took the armor out of a museum-like display, and that the armor is actually really old.
In the kid Boba books it also shows that Boba has Jango's armor and repaints it.
The Bounty Hunter Wars shows that Boba keeps spare parts laying around, so by the OT he might not be wearing Jango's armor anymore, especially since the Kid Boba books say that Jango's armor got resized to fit kid-Boba.
I think it's the New Essential Guide to Characters that says Boba came across Jaster's armor, which was why the people in-galaxy thought he was Jaster.

Once Jaster gave Jango the green armor, Jaster got new, black armor. Also, try not to post twice in a row.
ok Jango fett use to have black armor! i just read my friedns comic called jango fett.i showed that jango fett and jaster both had green armor thats when jaster promoted jango right?
Jango never had black armor.
Jaster had green armor. Jaster gave the green armor to Jango. Jaster then used black armor. Some time later, Jango started using the blue and white armor. Later in life, Jango gave Jaster's green armor to Boba.
Post Script: I applaud your choice of music.
Wow Didnt Know That! Thanks! Rock On Rob Zombie!
Now Im Bored
Well, that post does not belong in this topic, and try not to post twice in a row.
Wsan't.. his Outfit was his Father's,,and I image Boba Fett been a Street Kid..so he had added to his Outfit
but how he would look in a White or a Black outfit..but then he would look too much like those
Storm Troopers.
bats
sorry I clicked on by mistake before I could correct WASN'T. dumb bat
In "Jango Fett: Open Season" his armour starts off green with yellow shoulder armour, red gauntlets and T visor. Then silver/blue with red gauntlets, shoulder armour, cape and around the T visor after he takes over the Mandalorians.
After the Jedi kill all the Mandalorians except for Jango they hand him to the Governor of Galidraan who sold him to slavers. After he escaped he returned to Galidraan to take back his armour form the Governor, who had spent thousands on restoring it. Now his armour is silver with blue around the T visor, just like in EP II.
As for Boba's, I always thought it was Jaster's, in Open Season Jasters does have the skull on his shoulder like Boba's but I don't know how to confirm that.
Doesn't the skull represent the Headhunter Squad led up by Jaster on Concord Dawn in the Mandalorian Civil War? If so, this would definitely seem to point to Boba's armor being Jaster's, or at least a nod to him.
Just so you guys know Jango Fett's armour is unpainted except for it's blue trim, the metal is in it's natural state. Hence Boba Fett's armor which is losing parts of its paint job has exposed silver underneath.
Jaster Mereel had the black and red armor, and a green suit. Jango also changed colors during the passage of time. Supposedly the colors represents units or clans.
BTW someone said in one thread that Jango should have repainted his armor that it wasn't stealthy to have silver.I think Jango didn't care if you you he was coming, most mandalorians seem to have that attitude...Almost like they're daring you to try something.

That sounds about right!
I have not read any of the "kid Boba" books--hard to find but on eBay. I have also only read some of the comics, so I'm enjoying reading where the green armor comes into play. I was curious about that too.

That was probably me. Even if that is the reason, it is still not a very intelligent move.
Really it has very little to do with old Jango and more to do with George Lucas, you'll notice he likes everything clean and shiny in the prequels. It's suppose to symbolize the era, even the bounty hunter apparently.
And let it never be said that I don't give Boba Fett his due, he lives in a much harsher realm than his old dad did. So it shows on the outside as much as it does on the inside.
But in-universe, it was not a smart choice.
It is smart in the fact that it uses the fear factor on one's opponent. Who would you be more worried about a guy on a suit or a guy in a clear cut uniform?
The guy in a uniform, right? You can see him from a mile away, but you know he's been trianed, you know he'll be a handful. Same thought process with trooper armor being white,it's the message it sends. Playing on other peoples' fear is a very smart thing.
And in Jango's era everything is shiny...ships...buildings...etc. He would probably blend in pretty well. More than, Boba in jungle green on a dessert planet like Tatooine (say that five times fast). Sure a bounty hunter needs stealth sometimes, but fear is a way better weapon.
Hence Jodo Kast often going out impersonating Boba Fett, a Mandalorian is pretty scary. But that particular Mandalorian makes everyone nervous.

Anyone seeing Boba's armor would realize that he has been through, and survived, a myriad of wars and battles. That would scare someone.
By the way, the way you describe it, I would like to be on Tantooine right about no .
Man,you are one tough barve, Draco. Girl like me would be a puddle on Tatooine right about now,of course the city I'm in right at the moment looks like Hoth. I think I even saw a Wampa and some Taun Tauns.
Good then Mandos have climate control in their armor, metal conducts heat and cold real well (even on fabric). As I have discovered with my Naruto baseball cap, the metal plate on the front give me a headache when it's too cold or hot.
Oh I forgot, in one of the Star Wars Insiders there's an article on Mando culture it suggests that certain colors represent certain things too. Like black (Jaster Mereel's one set of armor) represents justice, and gold represents vengence.
Gold Mandalorian armor? Now that sounds tacky,LOL.
The Tantooine comment was a joke; check how you spelled "desert."
