KudarMubat15, it was only locked because we had this board in development. No use in registering twice, especially since the accounts didn't carry over.
Having started all this, I'd like to know if anyone remembers the site from the beginning, in 1996. 
The boards, as noted above in the Announcement, were rolled out in 2001.
Not I. I perhaps happened upon it once in a while, but didn't take notice until the Prequels, wherein I got extremely fed up with how Lucas was treating the EU. I found that this place was probably the best place around where I could voice my concerns and talk with fellows on this subject. I've been rather busy in college lately, so I haven't had a chance to make my presence known quite yet, but I'll be a 4-star before long
So.. To answer the question, a month or so, since the new boards have been up.
We only got internet at home in 2000, and before that I barely knew how to check my email at the library, lol. The first time I came to the BFFC at all was probably about the same time I joined the boards.

I made my first visit in late summer last year, then became a member early that fall ^_^
i'm going on a year now, i joined sometime after or in october last year, you know i can't remember at all maybe it was the year before that...oh well

Not exactly. The Fan Club is the site, and there's nothing to join other than the community that exists through BobaFett.com and all its features.
