They're on your skiffs, killing your hired help.
I found a website that had all the stories online, but I just found out that it's gone now. I'm sure you can find another one if you want (or since I saved all the files, you can IM me and I'll send them to you.) My favorite so far is probably the Witchhouse story just because I'm still having nightmares over it.
Did either of you ever read Lovecraft's poem "Fungi from Yuggoth"? It makes no sense whatsoever.
Thank you very much! Also unfortunatly, reading massive amounts online gives me migranes. Thank you though. Do you like Victorian fiction in general, or just Poe's? There is a site that I can easily find about Victorian fiction.

I have not read the poem, but I have read about it.
Did Poe write "the Pit & the Pendulum"? The Raven and Annabelle Lee were prtty good.
Impia tortorum longas hic turba furores Here the wicked mob, unappeased,
Sanguinis innocui, non satiata, aluit. (latin is sweet =P)
Yes poe wrote The Pit and the Pendulum, one of the greatest poems ever written.
I am learning Latin through the internet. The Pit and the Pendulum (that does not look correct) was one of my favorite stories by Poe.
U should definitely like Boba because he has a more interesting history than Jango. He also had a LONGER history than Jango because a jedi didnt lop of his noggin like Jango. Also, Boba is just plain old better than Jango. No, I dont play Runescape or Maplestory.
lol yah i know to live jangos livestory all i have to do is read the open seasons comics, play star wars bounty hunter, and watch episode 2. with boba its a lot harder. you know it had always been boba for me no question but recently jango started winning but now bobas making a small comeback!

I thought I was the only one! I've been trying for years and I've only got four or five stanzas. I do have Annabelle Lee done. Don't know any lines from the Conqueror Worm. Did either of you ever read Lovecraft's poem "Fungi from Yuggoth"? It makes no sense whatsoever.
Oh, if I just had time to sit down and memorize that sucker..."ah distinctly I remember, it was in the bleak december, and each seperate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor, vainly I sought the morrow, eagerly I sought to borrow from my books surcease of sorrow; sorrow for the lost Lenore. For the rare and radiant maiden who the angels call Lenore, nameless here forevermore." (yes, I know that's the second, I can't remember the first stanza right now. )
But Conqueror Worm...last year when I was bored in English class I decided to look for cool classic poetry and memorize it, and right now...I have Poes "Conqueror Worm", Shelleys "Ozymandias", and Blakes "Tyger" down to where I could recite them in my sleep, without thinking...I'm sure it'll be useful someday. ^_^
And sadly no, I've never read any Lovecraft, even though everyone keeps telling me how good it is..
I swear this title will never stop annoying me....
I friikin' love Ed Poe. Red Death has got to be my favorite, followed by The Cask of Amontillado.
I assume you're referring to Edgar Allen Poe... Cos I recently read The Raven.... It was pretty good... When I'm done with Heart Of Darkness I'll read The Pit and The Pendulum or The Tell-Tale Heart...
Heck I might try the Masque of Red Death or The Cask of Amontillado if you're reccomending them....
Most of Poe's stuff is fairly short anyway...
The Masque of Red Death is by far his greatest work, in my opinion. I highly recomend it.
Ok, speaking of Red Death the cover of my Poe Compendium has an illustration of that story...I'm sure it'll make sense when I read it...
Also it seems some kind Moderator has changed the name of this thread, perhaps because of my comment on that Cow thing...
THANKS whoever you were!!!
Tell Tale Heart is good, but not his best. I also like Fall of The House of Usher, and Annabelle Lee is also very good. Is that Lovecraft guy anything special? Would I dig his works?

Yea, you're welcome.
Alright.
I read the Masque of Red Death... It was pretty good...
Wow, you people are nice here. I'm getting my butt scorched on another forum.
I need to buy another flame suit.
Or an M16.
Yeah... after getting accused of "inventing something" in my head I'm ready to upgrade to the M16.
Oooh, even better, on yet another forum someone e-mailed me to tell me that I "think wrong."
Whoopee. I feel special now.
I'm just reading all these post about Edgar allen Poe. I would have to say the Fall of the House of Usher is my favourite. And what made it better is that I heard a radio drama of it made in the 40's. They should start making radio plays again. Every Sunday night I listen to this one station that plays them. There was one episode of the Shadow, where this giant cat was attacking the main character. The cat noise was pretty lame, but since it leaves so much up to your mind I got this mental image of this really fearsome cat creature. It was cool.
What is with draco and M-16? Why not a GE Minigun, or A Desert Eagle?
Well Desert Eagles arn't that good but Miniguns are cool.
I thought Desert Eagles were among the most powerful semi-auotmatic handguns....
Most powerful but not best they are extremly heavy and unreliable apparently it is so heavy it can be hard to for an adult to hold one steady there is extreme drag at the front of the gun weighing it down. A better handgun would be a Berreta.
As for the fear factor, pulling out either of them would scare the crap out of anybody they were pointed at, and for the recoil, it's really heavy, but not uncontrollable. In the Matrix, the Agents shoot it with one hand........wich is cheesy. But I still like the gun.
