Re: Mandalorian Rebellion 2 (Didn't know what to call it)
En'Te walked out of the church with Jun, everyone else taking off or waiting for the second ceremony. Sulliven busily talking with the friend of one Jun's cousins. She looked slightly interested, doc didn't seem to be talking about his work too much this time.
"I don't have to go on this mission y'know. We could just have the honeymoon like we planned."
She stopped, looking up at the sky a little.
"No, neither of us would feel right if something went wrong. You'll just have to go. I can wait just like always."
He looked up at the same spot she was. Still holding one of her hands.
"If that's your descision, then I guess I'd better go. I haven't died yet I guess. Might as well give fate one last throw of the dice."
"I'll see you when you come back."
He looked towards the trees, simply sighing in the wind.
"If I come back."
"No, when you come back. Let's go get ready for the next part then."
He walked along behind her, his head starting to ache again. At least he was going near Hoth. He could take Dev hunting like he'd promised. The only person that had to change was Jun, he already had on the strongest material he owned. But it got him thinking about Devon's little protoge. She didn't have the protective armor, and that tunic probably wouldn't last.
He excused himself, noticing Lukain headed inside Dev's cruiser. He could probably find something for her to wear. And thankfully his aunt was still there, her little girl about the same height as Lukain.
"Aunt Gyn'Te, do you have any extra clothing I could borrow? The strong kind, for a little girl."
She tapped her foot for a moment, eyes closed. And then opened them, getting up from her seat in front of her ship. She was a merchant, working out of her ship selling all sorts of things. She threw a pair of pants and a long sleeve shirt down, making the "you'll pay me a later" Ubese hand sign. He waved back, knocking on the front hatch until Lukain popped out.
"Hey, is Dev around here somewhere? We're about ready to leave."
"Yeah, but she's a little busy."
He nodded, her lovelife seemed to be at wits end too often. He handed the garment to Lukain and told her to get ready, he didn't have to say anything about Dev and Roby. She understood, not that surprising coming from this girl.
"Cya later kid, keep'em going like I know you will."
And with that he returned to Jun. Noticing that someone had painted 'Just married' on the side of his brand new cruiser in bright neon green. He sighed, throwing his hands up in the air.
"I'll go get a droid, there has to be at least one around..."
