AvP2 Survival of the Fittest???

Idk, survival of the fittest sounds fitting to me. No offence, but the concept of Alien vs Predator is retarted in my mind. Its like Freddy vs Jason and every other idea they came up with to revive dying movies.

AVP was supposed to be done for those who've been asking for it for years.  But of course the director screwed it all to hell. I mean, outside of the fact that there were way too many unexplained aliens, the storyline didn't make any sense. Even Spielberg could do a better job.
If you ignore the the little bits and pieces, the movie wasn't bad.
Supposedly the book makes sense.
But you could also blame the director from Predator 2 with the Alien skull.
But maybe the second one'll be better. AVP is something that just had to happen; in comics at least.

Yea this film was so annoying i dont even know why they have mixed the two charecters from different films  together its just wrong. I dont understand why they had Scar helping the woman (forgot her name) it was just stupid.

It's true that MK was not the best movie, but as for blaming Anderson for that, i'm not so sure. I mean they asked him to do a movie based on a fighting game... with that he did surprisingly well. The movie itself may have had its problems, but the storyline was quite good. (i mean the last fighting game movie was Street Fighter, and we all know how that turned out...)

But back on topic, AVP should have been one of those movies where throughout the whole story, people are dying and aliens are exploding. They tried to put a premise in it, which can't be done. Plus, every VG movie is doomed from the start. (with a few exceptions)

I play Avp2 its a good game, and the movie wasnt based on the game it was based on the comics or on the screwed up little mind of anderson. it says on the Avp poster "Who Ever wins we lose" yet the predator and the woman teamed up. whats up with that? the predator i know from the movies games and books would never do that, The predator i know would rip that woman to peices.

I think that the title's fitting (no pun intended). I mean, it should be the last battle and whoever is the victor (my money's on Predator) will be considered the fittest to survive. The story did make more sense than the movie, in the book, Scar actually scares Lex with the armour. I believe he teamed up with her because, without some extra help, he would have died there.

What I'm curious about is how the hybrid will play into the story plot.

Man, I was hoping to see what the hybrid could do... ah, well.
    I think we've been saying that the books/comics are always better than the movies for years now.

These someone vs. someone movies are so stupid. Everyone gets in arguments about which is the best, when it always turns out just to be a TIE in the end anyways. I knew people who got in fights over Freddy vs. Jason because they claimed Freddy/Jason was better then the other. But at least that movie had the novelty of laughing at the parents bringing in their 4 year olds to the movie. Betting candy over what the kids/parents would do was the best part.

I didn't say you guys were debating. I was just putting in my two cents about those kinds of movies D= But apparently opinions aren't too welcome.

cool! The first AvP was totally awesome. It was a mtch made in heaven.  I was never too keen on FvJ though.......but I cant wait for the new AvP to come out!

well all the more reason it doesnt suit AvP why not have it called Primal Hunt like the game I liked that.
