Very good point Miba. You say that most poeple view Mace as "the ultimate badguy", and your right, he's a disgrace to his own order.  I mean COME ON!!! This guy created  VAPAAD!! Thats not something you want the lil Padawan's to look up to. Yoda is "the ultimate good guy"  straight up!!!

I truly believe what Chanceller Palpatine had said, "To understand something, you must study everything, not  just the insignificant learnings of the force!" or somthing of that nature. ;? You must at least know about the dark side in order to release the true power of the force. But this dude didnt only learn about it, he turned to it and created a freakin fighting style.

This does though, bring some possitives to Mace. He is like a Triple A, an X drunk, an X Junkie that teaches lil kids not to do drugs or alchohol and stuff. Mace tries to make sure that the jedi dont turn to the dark side. So this can be a positive thing as well as a negative. But the killing the Emporer thing, is just agaist his own order that HE talks so much about.........

But I simply hate him cuz he killed Jango.

I just don't like mace. He killed one of the coolest people in EP2 (for me at least...)

As I have stated before (most of you probably have not read it), if Winduen killed Jar Jar, most of you would cheer for him. If Boba killed Solo, we would not hate him.

I highly respect Mace for killing Jango, and I can say that despite my bias for the Fetts and all bounty hunters in general.  Mace is a hero, and heros kill villians.  What's the confusion?  Mace is awesome for walking the line to the Dark Side and developing a dangerous style that would have taken out that slimy serpent Palpatine if it weren't for Hyperboy's foolishness.

I'm a good person, but if some fool attacks me... he's going down real hard!  I don't mess around with letting evil people control my life.  Why would a Jedi councilman allow the top bounty hunter to survive, especially when he's allied to the real enemy of the war being fought?  While I'm at it, only Samuel Jackson is cool enough to play Mace Windu.  It was a perfect casting.

This was absolutely necessary so that Boba could grow up meaner than his father, and so that we could see how powerful Master Windu is.  Of course, Obi-wan didn't have the advantage of rampaging beasts trampling his opponent when he battled Jango, so maybe that was a small factor in Jango's defeat.
