I feel like it's got too much going on and they're afraid to have classic characters have personality so far. There's also not a lot of plot development in each issue. I love the art, but I'd kill for another Boba centered novel. Something to sink my teeth into.
This story is preRotJ, so there's no danger. Put it immediately after the sail barge incident and I'm stuck to every panel.
I don't care about any of the other bounty hunters. Is Bossk anyone's first favorite bounty Hunter? 2nd? 3rd? Why not choose zuckus for the comic? Is he too hard to write for? Is Bossk 1 dimensional enough to make him the heel of some jokes and move on? I think they've had him say something about the score keeper in the first two issues. If he brings it up again in the third I'm going to pen some upset letters to the editor.
I had high hopes for this series. I love the splash pages of Boba kicking some faces in, but I want more. Show me why people have fear of and pay for Fett more than a 3v1 fight.
In the movie he uses some guile against the good and bad guys. Show me that knife's edge wit.
There are so many strings to pull with this character and discover from, but if this is only going to be a paint by numbers, back where we started at story, I'm not sure if I want to keep following.
I mean, I'll still buy a copy, but I won't tell my friends about it.
