Topic: 'The Figure' at the end of The Mandalorian - Episode 5

I've been thinking about this a lot, and quite honestly, I have extreme doubts that it's Boba Fett. I used to think it was him because of the boot SFX and cape, along with the details in the knees. But if I'm being honest, I'm drifting more towards that it was Moff Gideon since it simply makes more sense story-wise. Though the fact the 'tease' took place in Tatooine of all places makes me a little skeptical but I've concluded that it was probably Moff Gideon.

Anyway, what do you guys think?

Even though Moff's walk doesn't include the sound of spurs like the Fett-like figure in Chapter 5? Wouldn't that rule out Moff?

I’m starting to think that could be Boba. But in case it’s him, I think we would see him on another season, and not necessarily on the second one. Maybe even later. What do you think?

Now that the season has wrapped, no closure on who that was. Maybe we'll see more in Season 2, confirmed now for Fall 2020.

Unless the plan is to make the Fetts Mandalorian again, i don't see a reason for it to be Boba. It could be Dengar, or possibly a new character. If Boba is to return, id rather see him in a mentor type role after explaining that he has always been a mando and that the old government denied this as he went against their peaceful ways by bounty hunting so they tried to distance themselves from clan Fett.
