Topic: BFFC Upgrades: New Image Galleries

We'll soon be hot-swapping the dated Coppermine image galleries system for a better, hand-crafted equivalent. Same content and most functionality, but more integrated into the website than ever before. Less generic features and more useful ones. Faster, too, and less prone to random thumbnail disappearances. LOL

If anyone would like a sneak peek to give some final feedback before we let it rip, shoot me over a DM on here.

The new image galleries are now online:

Same link as before, but brand-new code under the hood. Faster to load, more consistent with the rest of the site.

Some features will be coming back, like "Popular." Others will roll out that will be completely new.

"Favorites" is coming back, better than ever. Users will be able to click a button to save an image to better store just their favorites. These mini galleries will also be available, so if you're following other members, you can see what images they like and visa versa.

Currently in beta testing with some BFFC users. If you'd like early access, shoot me a DM.

You can now favorite (and un-favorite) images on the gallery. Favorites end up in a section called "My Gallery" where you and others can see them.
