Have any of you read this book? if so what can you tell me about it? is there zombies as i am hoping? the planets called necropolis like return of the living dead: Necropolis so i assume there is zombies. Its by John Whitman. So do you have this book?
I've read it. It and the whole Galaxy of Fear series is not canon, just keep that in mind if you decide to read them. I've read about 10 of them. The series goes up to the mid-late teens I think. Anyway, the series is about two kids who were offplanet when Alderaan blew up, and so their parents were killed there and now they live with their uncle, who is a canon character, Hoole the anthropologist. They travel from planet to planet and encounter adventures and the kids save the day. They sometimes encounter Imps. The girl is Force Sensative and can use the Force without training for some reason. Anyway, this particular book, City of the Dead, I think is number 2 or 3 in the series. In this one people do come back to life in a way. I forget if they're actual zombies or if later on it's discovered to be a shot given to people to make others think they're dead and rerisen later but they've really been alive the whole time. But it has the appearance of zombies anyway. Boba's in this book but is out of character. He takes his armor off then stands it up (huh? How?) to make it look like he's where he's not, then later the girl's there and Boba makes her hand his armor to him without turning around.
Overall it's not that great a book. It's not the worst Galaxy of Fear book ever, but it's not the best either. The best would be Ghost of the Jedi, but Boba's not in that book. Boba's other appearance is when the kids go to Dagobah and meet Yoda and somehow Boba's there too. o_0 That on's number 13 I think but I could be wrong.

Yeah, my Brother's middle school had this book, and he got it out of the library for me to read when I was in 10th grade... lol. It was a very, very, very easy read and almost laughable in some parts. Miba gave a perfect summary, and I think's it's safe to say the people were Zombies. I believe it was Doctor Evazan who injected some soft of chemical into the dead bodies that brought them back as lifeless "zombies."
I can tell you're interested in zombies... do you like Resident Evil, Jesse?
In Tails from the New Republic their is a story in their where the dead do rise and walk but it turns out that the zombies are made by worms that carry bio-electric impulses that send electricity to the muscles that cause them to spasm.
(oh yeah big RE fan although I still need RE2 & 3 nemesis to complete my set.)
