Topic: Non-Fett Costuming

So, what other SW costumes have you made? If this is the wrong area, feel free to move this thread. :)

I've made a Jedi costume. Well, my mom made the cloak for me. I have regular khakis I wear as the pants. The tunic I'm still kinda working on, but for now I wear a buttoned white shirt that I've cut off the collar to with a cut up sheet tied on as the outer-vest and under-belt. And then I wear two regular belts, each tilted so they hang down on the hips some and then I hang a lightsaber from each. I'm still trying to find boots though. It seems like every single store I go to has great boots..... all that have heels on them. I'd trip and kill myself if I wore heels. I have some tan and brown cloth hanging around the house that I need to cut up and sew into a tunic and vest-belt peices.

So... what about you guys?

My brother dressed up as a Sith Lord for Halloween. He bought the robes online and got the Darth Vader Force FX Lightsabre for his birthday. Viola! Instant Sith! I, myself haven't dressed up as a Star Wars character...

I myself haven't ever done any kind of Star Wars costume... I have wanted to however, but just never got around to it.

I'd like any kind of trooper costume...(i.e. stormtrooper, scout trooper)

I helped my little brother with an Anakin (Phantom Menace) costume once....

Jedi -- I'm so creative :P

I'd only bother with Boba/Jango if I could make something movie like -- fat chance :P

I've made two. One was an Anakin-esque Jedi robe for my boyfriend, and the other was my famous Darth Revan costume. It was awesome.

This year I'm thinking about dressing up as Visas Maar (yeah, I'm a big KOTOR fan...). And there's likely to be some lovely black-and-gold Mando armor on the horizon.

Ooh, if you do make the black and gold mando armor, can you give us pics? I think that'd look so great!

I haven't made a SW related costume-yet. My mom is kind of fed up with my own costume ideas 'cause she can't ever find all the materials, or the ones to my specifications.

Those are really cool pics! :) I like the posing on them. Did you have a full Sith costume or just the robe?

I'd be happy to ^_^ I've got the design all planned out after reading the Mando article in SW Insider. I've just got to either find a metalworker or a way to get more allowance.
