Topic: Order 66 earlier

Imagine if Order 66 had took place not in the time we know,but earlier.Let's say at the start of the battle of Geonosis.What would happen and who would be the winner?

well the jedi probably wouldn't have died as easily in ROTS and Darth Vader probably wouldn't exist. Aside from the Separatists would have won and Sidious would control the galaxy with droids instead of stormtroopers.

And not all the Jedi would be dead cause there would be no Clones on the other planets that the other busy Jedi were on. So we'd have a few hundred (maybe that many?) Jedi come wandering back to the temple, done with their mission, only to find out another few hundred had been wiped out in a battle, and then they'd continue on their Jedi way getting new Jedi and making the order better and stronger.

But the leading members of the Jedi Order were at Geonosis.How could they withstand the combine powers of the C.I.S and the clones?And with the Council wiped out,would the Jedi be able to gather their forces on time,or the Jedi Temple assault would be a walk in the park?

I think if it was at the start of the battle of Geonosis all the Jedi would have been killed because it was the clones that saved the Jedi when they were surrounded. I think Yoda would have been killed by the clones on the gunship.

If you really sit back and look at it, though, it could not have happened earlier. Things would have been way too messed up. Everyone would have realized Palpatine was behind everything. Then he'd be looking at the entire galaxy and a droid army coming down on him and his few clones.

I wonder...if Order 66 took place at the Phantom Menace,what would have happened?

Absolutely nothing, cause Jango wasn't even recruited till a month or so after TPM. lol

And I agree with Mandalor-the-smart-alec. Everyone would have known it was Palpatine and been mad at him. It had to happen after the CW were nearly done that way it could look like the Jedi were making a grab for power, make people hate the Jedi. If Palpatine just simply ended them on some desert planet people would be curious and hate him cause the Jedi were "good" back then.

But it could be called a radio error, Palpatine "regretably" informing the populace that the clones' transmissions were faulted by the Seperatists.
Apart from that, not a lot of people knew about the clone army at the time, that I know of.

I agree with Maltese.And I'm also sure that  if Palpy wanted to make Order 66 earlier,he could have founf Jango earlier or not have used Jango at all and instead someone else for the cloning.
