Just something I wrote when I was bored
New Jedi Order: Akaan Laar
Prolouge:
Lieutentant Atin'vod Cuyan looked on in silence as the first wave of Hell Jumpers prepared to launch. She knew that she'd never speak to some of these men and women ever again; when you became a Hell Jumper, your life expectantcy(sp?) was cut in half. And Mandalorian warriors on the front lines didn't live long in the first place.
The Hell Jumpers that died wouldn't even be honored in the Mando'ade way; it wasn't possible. Their armour would melt into slag. All that would be left would be the ashen tatters of a bodysuit, the melted armour, and the ash remains; if that. But, no Mando was ever really forgoten. There would always be someone that would remember them. No passed Mando would be left unhonored.
Death before dishonor, she thought for the Hell Jumpers. She patted an animal skin pouch at her side. It's tell-tale jingle tore at the tear in her heart. Inside were the armour tallies of dead Mando'ade. Her men, her brothers, her sisters, mothers and fathers. Her family. The only one she would ever know, anyway.
"Lieutentant? something the matter?" asked one of the aides she hadn't managed yet to convince she needed no bodyguard.
"Hmm? No, Nau'ul. I'm fine; just thinking," she reassured the aide, although, her voice did sound distant.
"You are dismissed now, Nau'ul. I must speak with the Lieutentant. Privately."
Atin didn't bother turning around. She knew the voice, she found comfort in its hard edge of authority and cold diction and harsh pronounciation. The voice that her own had taken after.
"You cannot fool me, At'ika, I raised you. Though, I am surprised that you are not in the first wave."
"I'm fine," she stressed the last word; Don't press it. "And believe me, I'd much rather be on the first wave. They won't let me though."
"Since when do you follow orders?" asked the man skeptically.

So, you still going to post in the RPG? It's kind of been just me and Kentiaba (sp?).
