Does anyone else see parallels in these two combative peoples?   I don't know as much about Klingons as I do Mandos, but from what I do know, they both seem to be ready to fight anytime, have unique weaponry and armor, and their own well-known or growing language in their representative science fiction universe.
Imagine if the two groups actually met------Wow!  wouldnt' THAT be a battle to watch???  :P

The Mandalorians have wrist-rockets, Baskalisc war droids/ships, flame-throwers, nearly indestrectable armor, anti-vehicle missiles, and knee darts. the Klingons do not stand a chance.

Klingons have zero chance. they'd get their shebs kicked in.

Yes, the Mandos would win. But I believe that Klingons are the Mandalorians of the Star Trek universe.

Thanks Ursula!  I used my desktop publishing program (Pub. Platinum) to get that look.

(We are not biased or anything on this discussion right?? LOL) I too think the Mandos would defeat the Klingons in battle.  It seemed to me that the Klingons were more anger-driven and "touchy" in that sense.  The Mandalorians seem to utilize more strategy.

Hey guys, the Klingons are awesome.  They have an honor-driven culture just like the Mandalorians, and I suspect that the Mandalorians were inspired by them.  But I have to say that if they fought, the Mandos would beat the Klingons just because of superior weaponry and armor.

I never liked Klingons :P Mandos are way better because they have advanced weaponery, as stated before.

Whoa, not just any tights. They're leather tights. There's a critical difference.

Maybe if the Mandos left their armor on, the Borg wouldn't recognize them as biological lifeforms.

They'd just use the universal 'scans' that they use in every episode that apparently tell them everything and anything about the target. And adaptation can only work so far; after the Mandos waste an obscene number of them with blaster fire, they can always resort to tearing them apart if the Borg do that extremely annoying 'adapting' thing.

Oh, the Mandos'll eventually be assimilated...resistance is futile, so I'm told.  :P

Not a chance, there won't be enough room for the assimilated ones in the ships, so...

I suppose there's a chance the Mandalorians could eventually be bested. Still, they'll give them hell before they are.

The only thing I never understood is why people insisted on using beam weapons against the Borg?  Swords and knives.  Worf didn't have any problems chopping them up.  I don't think Mando's would have that problem.  Chopitty, chopitty.

I do not watch Star Trek much, but would light-sabres work?

I don't see why not, although since it's plasma (like the phasers), it might not after a few hits.

True--slice and dice--get it done.

Leather tights--LOL---yeah, I guess they were weren't they?  hehehe

HHmmmm...Mandos vs. Borg..........yet another very interesting matchup!  Oh, what would happen if the Vong showed up too? *evil laugh*  Two Star Wars fighting groups vs. two of Star Trek....oh yeah!  Now we're talkin'!  okay, I think I'm getting carried away here... :P
