We have learned that Don Francks, the voice of Boba Fett in the Star Wars Holiday Special, passed away on April 3, 2016. This is our tribute to him.

Here is our tribute to remember his incredible talent, providing the very first voice of the character we all know and love. He also did the voice of Fett in the Droids cartoon in 1985.

Don was born February 28, 1932. He was 84 years old.

Don Francks was great as the voice of Boba Fett.

I was crestfallen when I heard the news. Don Francks was a great talent. Whether he was playing Boba Fett, Mok Swagger, Santa Clause, or just jazz music... he will be missed. It's easy to see where Cree Summer gets her talent and skill.

Ask me about my trashy Star Wars opinions if you want to feel better about yourself.
