awesome, i have one of those myself,
if you run into any problems, i had to customize mine a lot, so ask me if you need tips
Thanks. I'll need it. But I'll let you keep the spikes on top. :P They're really cool, but don't fit my character. I'll be sure to talk to you and mccoy, because you guys have both used Don Posts.

sounds like a plan
is your bucket warped at all?
No idea--haven't gotten it. I should get it in a couple of days, though. And I've got a long weekend, so maybe I'll be able to get something done. It'll be here in "2-9 days" So more like 9, I imagine.

$53? A bit expensive...i saw one of those at a store a few months back and it was $20.
I am a Role Playing Gamer, like my father before me.
You'll no doubt need to reinforce it using a craft ring around the base, that'll give it the correct flair AND stop it from warping further. Don't forget to add a full T visor to it and to sand off the moulded Lucas logo and awful paint job. Oh.. and never EVER keep it in sunlight.... Like Gremlins it'll melt if it get too hot!

exactly, craft ring may be necessary, but the 2 i bought off of ebay needed no modification.
The 2 i bought from the local costume shop...one of them was warped from storage. (It looked like somebody took a blow drier to it and then stepped on it.) The other is a rubies and it sucks
i managed to fix the don-post one and i wear it today. :)

Thanks Orthar. I'll see what it's like when I get it, and see what I need to do.
