Topic: Choose

I thought since its been a little quiet lately we could play a game..... this is called CHOOSE.

How to play:
Some one poses an either or question. EXAMPLE: Red or Green?

Next post or posts answer. Must provide some sort of reason behind choice. Better if also has reason for NOT choosing the other as well. EXAMPLE: Green because its the color of money, as red makes me look bad. ( not the best answer I admit but you should be able to see what I mean.) Try to be as creative as you can. ( And I know you guys are :) )

Ok first one:

Anchovy pizza or Pineapple pizza?

Anchovy pizza cause I think fruit with meat and cheese is just plain discusting, and anchovies are yummy!

Pineapple. I love it, as its how the combination of the sweetness of the fruit complements the non sweet elements. Its less crazy than you might think.

Feel free to add a choice too.... I forgot to say that too. :D

I don't know if my first one is all that exciting. Old school games..... Sega or Nintendo?

Sega, though both have good games, sega had the better jurassic park and terminator games.

Stargate or Star Trek

Stargate. It has better gaphics, more intesity in the fights. I never like Star Trek, and always thought of it as a minor tv show. It was too boring during the fights. "Scotty! I've been hit." the end. William Shatner always sounded bored, and would never purposely kill in that show.

Star Trek because it's a classic. I've never seen stargate :P

This is one where if neither was an option I would take that.. but you have to chose something...
Star Trek because its so cheesy that it has some intrinsic value.

would you kill jar-jar or Hitler?

this is a tough one...

Definitely Hitler, Jar-jar may be a pain and a fool but Hitler's ethic cleansing ideology and genocide make him just plain dangerous.

It's tough? I'd kill Hitler. Very simple as to why. The reason I would not kill Jar-Jar, is that he's so stupid, he may commit suicide accidently.

i was just kidding, and of course my answer is Hitler as well.

now on a more serious note,

which armor would you rather have,

boba fett or master chief?

it would be totally flawless and just like in the game/movies

Fett. Totally. Because I LOVE Mandalorian armor.

Sith or Grey Jedi

Boba Fett. Master Chief's armor is very cool, but doesn't have near as many weapons. If you could play Halo as Boba, I'm sure it would be easier considering all the extra weapons he has that Chief doesn't. And Boba even has a jetpack (which has downsides as ROTJ pointed out) that could be superior on traversing the battlefield.

Shields would be a bonus, too. And superstrength. But I was thinking more just cool to wear, not functionality.

That did come to mind...

Master Chief's armor. The energy shields are a great bonus, along with the cybernetic enhancements.

Fett. MC's is cool in all... but Boba's instills fear in to the heart. There's a stronger reputation there, oh and its just freaking cool. (Does that armor include that wonderful Westar blaster of his. :D)

Not to mention Boba has a JETPACK.

Boba all the way. he has an awesome HUD, and tons of equiptment built into his armor. master chief only has shields and a little light bulb

No question: Gray Jedi

I may not agree with the Council on a lot, but I'm not as blood thirsty, psycho, or cowardly for that matter, as the Sith tend to be.

The Sith are ruled by their emotions.  The Jedi live without them.  The Gray Jedi have the best of both worlds

Most Sith aren't cowardly...and wow...I forgot about that thing. I'd be a Sith. No second thought about it. The Gray Jedi live alot closer to the light side than I would be comfortable with. The Sith know how to harness their emotions when needed, unlike the Gray Jedi.

I see no difference. much like Boba Fett. ;) Probably a gray jedi though if I had to choose. Just because you can basicly do what ever I want. Not good or bad.

Xbox 360 all the way. LIVE is da bomb, and you can't play Halo on the PS3.

Clones or Stormies

Storm troopers. The clones are cool in the movies and all but I think the Storm troopers look cooler.

Clone Troopers! Stormies all look the same. The clones armor was more personal and colorful. And Storm troopers weren't all clones of Jango, and therefore probably not Mandalorian.

Definitely stormtroopers. The way that Star Wars presents the two different breeds of soldiers is rather biased: the clone troopers, as a miraculous force of soldiers used to fight the Confederacy and only managed to be used for evil by being misled by the Sith; the stormtroopers, though, were always shown as the 'bad guys', always the faceless minions of evil, the cannon fodder for the 'good guys' to battle.

I don't believe this image is entirely fair. The stormtroopers are supposed to be trained, elite soldiers of the empire, but when dozens have to be able to fall to a farmboy with an E-11 that appearance can't really shine through. If anyone's read Survivor's Quest, by Timothy Zahn (in my opinion the greatest Star Wars author there is), then the way he portrays the fighting 401st is the perfect example of how stormtroopers are supposed to be. The way they fight and operate is nothing short of epic, and a mere four of them wreak particular havoc in that wonder of literary work.

I have that book....and I have to say it was great. But I still like Clones better.

Republic Clonetroopers

I go by the theory that under Palps the training and early conditioning of clones faltered due to funding cuts for his super toys or because of the few instances of revolt against Order 66 and he sacrificed on their training to harden their pure unquestioned obedience, and that's why you see such a difference in the effectiveness between the old and new trilogies.

trucks. I always liked trucks. don't quite know why. :)

Read a book, or watch a movie.

Movies!  Books have no CGI   :P

Books! Language is beautiful, even when being brash and crass. You can create special effects with your imagination that no computer or special effects guy will ever come up with. And once you watch a movie all you are is alone again, but a book, is personal. You hold it, touch it, smell it and they can surround you and my simply looking at them can bring a whole world and memories of where and when you read it right back. Oh yes. Books hands down.

Vinyl (records) or Cd's (digital too).?

Probably digital for the ease of being able to carry around my whole music collection with me. And not having to worry about skipping or scratching the music. Vinyl, while not with out some benefits, is not realistic for the everyday. And Cds ( especially the early days of Cds) are actually kind of the same with records.
