Ever since I saw episode 2........I've always had this vision of Boba fett creating his own cloned son as his father did.
But what seems like Boba, is that he'd give his own son HIS OWN name.
Maybe give him his armor to continue HIS career even after he's dead. Ya know what I mean??
Or maybe Boba would name him after his father Jango..................who knows

I already know Boba Fett has a daughter and all, but what do you think would happen if Boba did as his father had and made a cloned son?

1st if all i think that if he had the drive to have a son then he may try to find a girl.

if he dident and just wanted a legacy i could see him raising a clone.

also if you clone a clone you think there would be any dehabilitating side affects?

Yea, I didnt really think about that. A clone cloning himself...................hmmm...
If anything it should work more properly than with a regular human, wouldnt you think? He already has the DNA in correct order and all. Im just guessing.

But just to continue his legacy without letting poeple know that he died, that would be cool.

I always thought that cloning a clone is like making a copy of a copy. The more it's done the greater the chance of mistakes until finally you got something completely unviable.  I agree with Regimas, he would most likely try to find a girl if he wanted a son.

Yea I guess making a copy of a copy makes it more unviable,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but ya know, anything could happen in Star Wars,,,,,,,,,,,they could have the perfect cloning machine of Kamino somewhere. But just the IDEA of Boba having a cloned son is cool.

I actually think that's a really good idea, and could be a hell of a twist on the end of the Fett Legacy that most of us are expecting to come.

I think there would be problems in using the cloning process over time, but Boba was the first clone.  I think that he could afford a cloner with enough skill to do the job, and that it could possibly be done done dozens or even to hundreds of times before real problems would occur.

Just a guess on that one, but I'm sure it could be done once...and even if it couldn't, I'm sure an author could be found who would make an exception for Mr. Fett  :D

She'd probably do it, but I heard her contract is almost up with LucasFilm *or whatever branch of LucasInc. distributes the books*.  I'm really hoping Lucas has the brains to resign her long term....if the contract thing is true

Hmm but if you take the fact that the Sarlacc messed with Boba's DNA you wouldn't know what you might get if you cloned Boba - gah mutant Sarlacc Fett! - coming to theatres near you!

LOL :D

The idea is really great, but Boba actually has a child, Ailyn Vell (if we can believe what Jedipedia says).

And she's girl and the topic was "If he made a cloned son"... The storyline would change a lot, if boba made a cloned son. Many Boba Fett book would be different.

by the way, cool idea Mel.

Wow if Boba had a cloned son then that means either the Fetts don't want to settle down or the ladys just don't seem to like them. :D

Hey, just out of curiosity isn't VELL spelled with one L, VEL?
Oh and doesn't she hate him?? I read that at Fettipedia. :P
