I have looked around, and I've seen some members who love her, and others who pray that she'll stop writing. I'd like to know everyone's opinion, and give a good reason why you like/dislike her.
Personally, I enjoy reading her books. The Republic Commando book series was amazing. It shows that clones are real men, not mindless drones and it provides plenty of background on Mandalorian culture. Her Legacy of the Force books are superb as well.
What are your views on Karen Traviss?

Karen Traviss is actually one of my favorite authors for the same reason you like her Republic Commando books. I loved how she showed how they are real men, they aren't as dispensable as the some of the Jedi and others in the Star Wars universe think they are. I am actually obsessed with Mando's and Clone Troopers because of her. I agree, the Republic Commando series is amazing, and I personally love her writing.
She's awful. I'm heading off to bed in, like, two seconds here, so I don't have time to give reasons cause that'd take a while. But I really, really, really wish she'd stop. She's destroying SW.

I actually like Karen Traviss. Her and Aaron Allston are the reasons I'm actually reading SW novels again.

I've only read a little of her work, but I don't like it.
I thought there was already a topic for this???
As for Karen, I like her Clone novels but I don't like her portrayl of Boba.
It was like thousands of voices cried out for a sequel and were suddenly silenced...
