Hello again everyone,     i thought this would be a good question.......since there are alot of cool things about Boba and most alot of us like him for different reasons. Post what you think is the coolest thing/s about him, and lets see what we get.  I'll start....i like boba fett because he is always working independantly......he doesnt need anyone's help (if ya know what i mean).

I like how even though he doesnt really distinct which side of the law he's on , B. Fett still lives by a set of morals that usually includes the highest bidder...

(<== Boba Fett Lover!)

I don't feel enough credit goes out to Fett for being freelance.  For someone to make it as an independent without a place to check for news, look for postings, or even a way to be contacted through a guild, it is extremely difficult to get started!  It makes sense to start in a guild and then break free of the contract, but you earn quite a disliking from guild members who have to pay a share of their earnings to those who maintain the wanted boards (so to speak).

It takes a very ambitious character to say "I'll go it alone" and to do it with style and taste.  Boba Fett doesn't reduce himself to anything below his set standards just for a quick buck.  That makes him almost fashionable to say, "I highered the best!"

First, the helmet and old worn out garb. That suggests he's seen some action out there, and he's ready for more!

That T-shaped visor behind which you're not sure if he's calculating or just... looking at you :P

The fact that there is so little said about him in the movies (OT), giving freedom for fans to imagine anything they want about the character - which is why, btw, I prefer my vision of Fett before the prequels came out, the rumors and suspicions were INSANE!

Slave I: I always wondered about what was going on in that ship, its cargo and their stories... Also Fett's "home". If only bulkheads could talk.... Hmmmm!

Mandalorians and clones: what would I do without them? :P Drawing Jedi and Sith, just like the gazillions of other fan artists out there. Right now I'm pretty happy about what I'm doing as a tribute to this SW subculture, bringing awesome people together to discuss and create its contents (Traviss, Kaufmann, and so on).

I like his helmet the best.. It is SO COOL!!!!
I agree with Daenna you don't know if he is calculating or staring at you..

I like his personality, his strength, he doesn't give up, he's smart, dark, mysterious, handsome, I love his armor, he's deadly, his sense of humor is great, Slave I is cool, and etc. etc. etc.

The whole thing with him outwitting and outsmarting bossk is pretty cool.......Boba Fett knows that he isnt doing his job right if nobody is out for his head and would do anything for his death. I also think you guys are right about the helmet thing.......after reading Hard Contact and Triple Zero i gained a better respect for everything that goes on behind the helmet.....ya know   all of the comlink/targeting/computing/night vig/etc.    its alot more complicated than what you first think.

I like Boba's personality it says in BHW he keeps the emotion out is voice so nobody knows what he's thinking. He also dosent talk much and that makes him mysterious.

I'm smiling because they havn't found the bodies yet. :)

I like pretty much what everyone has said here, mainly his morals. I also like that he is pretty much the greatest Star Wars character of all time, and not just in opinion. For example, read Fett's satistics on the Transformers figure.

i like him because he is one man. not to make a differnce, but to make a profft. but he dose alot for the rest of the galcay i read in one comic that he gives to orphens, that is the coolest part a bout him.

some blood lines were ment to end.
April 14, 2006 3:32 pm #

Alot of people respect Boba for his morals...........while the whole awesome bounty hunter/solo (one man)/ mysterious/ *AWESOME LOOKING ARMOR* etc. etc. etc. is just the "icing on the cake" if ya know what i mean. The result is the model and hero so many love.....

I love Boba Fett because he keeps his cool at all times.  And behind his helmet is a brain that can think instinctivly to kill.  And he does it naturally, without any enhancers, or droid parts in his head.

Boba Fett owns all.

I don't think even Yoda could be him.

Everyone dies. I bow to no one and I give service only for cause.

It is quite possible that Fett could kill Grandmaster Yoda. Vader had more midi-chlorines than Yoda, and Fett bested Vader in a battle. That proves nothing though.

His cold, emotionless style, the fact that he can kill without a second thought, but he does have a code of honour, sort of like a futuristic knight.  His kick@$$ armour,  and up until recently, his mysteriousness.

I like his cold, unshakable, self assured attitude.  It gives off an impression that he is unbeatable, which he is.  Whenever it seems that he's in a bad situation, you always know that somehow, he'll come out on top.  I also like how nothing intimidates him, not even Darth Vader.

For me it's a combination of his power and his morality.  It's unusual to see characters who are both extremely intimidating and morally upright.  Usually the moral people are made to be very unlikeable or else very dorky.

Yup, it's kinda weird how they make the bad dudes soo much more appealing....and the moral good boys.....a little weak and dorky and unapealing.
I like bad dudes though......they are *most of the time* waaaaay kooler and have kooler powers. Boba Fett isn't evil.....but isn't the straightest boy you can get....and that's another thing that attracts me.

His job does show what his charactor is like, and what his objectives in life are. He mostly just wanted to measure up to what his father would have wanted. I think he did that plus alot more than expected. He wanted to be ready when his time came to fight a jedi, so that he would not be overcome like his father.

His sheer force of will, perhaps more than anything, gains him an incredible amount of respect in my eyes. He is completely relentless, without fail doing job after job with the same motivation: justice. If not that, then the incredible skill with which he ends life.

There are SO MANY THINGS to love about Boba Fett.  To pick just one?  That's hard.
I think the thing I like so much about the character is that he comes across as the shadow self.  He is the darker, harder, disciplined aspects of the self that many want to turn away from all rolled into one faceless package, making him so accessible to all of us.  In that reflective visor we all see an aspect of our own shadow that we want to see, that we might like to embody, but for what ever reason can not, or elect not to reveal.

Alright, I know this kid didn't just try to give me an order, because I really don't want to get banned again. Try to push anything on me again mate, and things won't turn out pretty. You because of what'll be thrown at you, and me because I'll be banned faster than I can riddle you with holes, which is pretty damn fast.

This isn't meant to spark any kind of war here, as I've already been banned for fighting one and I know for a fact that staff won't hesitate to do it again. So just listen to what I said before; don't push me, and I won't push you.

But don't get the wrong idea, I back down from no one, least of all you; you twitch at me the wrong way, and I'll light you up like the 4th of July.
