Topic: BFFC AMM's

Hey I just wanted to know if the artists on the boards wouldn't mind combining our forces/talents to make the AMM  Artistic Minded Mando's (yes the name can be changed it was just something I thought of on the spur of the moment). Anyway what the AMM would be is a group of BFFC artists who want to join in order to make things together and take on projects. For instants lets say I want a pic of Duhar'han (you know. the guy with a gun for a head.) but I am not so good at the drawing/painting, I would make it a project where someone like Terra or phoenix who are good with inks and sketches could fill in where I or another lack, and after the drawling was done I could change things like background,contrast,and the such. Also we could take requests easier so instead of someone coming to one of us who might be busy or not so active at the time and making a request that might not be answered in a while one of us who are open could do it. This is just an idea I had that I think could improve the site and we could have fun while we were at it. (yes I know this could be in the "Dialog" section but I think it fits here better.) All artists who join would still keep their old privet topics and would still post their own work on those. This would just be a resource for fans.

I have somewhat of a drawing talent, but I don't think I could do request art or anything...good idea though.

This is one of the reasons I made his so that if someone like you were busy the others could work on what ever it is.
I do hope this will be a lasting thing and be here for a while.

Yeah thanks for the PM :D It totally worked. I think this could be a good idea. I certainly don't mind helping out ner vode. Sometimes I have quite a bit of downtime at work and is a perfict time to work on digital projects. I like the sharing too, because like terra sometimes I'm pushing to get my school and paying work done. (Like this past weekend :P which is probably why I didn't get to this thread sooner.)

Artistic Minded Mando's... I'm not great with names or titles so this works just fine for me.

Well at home its not working for me either. But at work I have a beautiful artistic setup (well digitally anyway).

New Project
I was thinking we could do our first project if we are all up to it.
I propose we make a banner for the site.
This has been talked about before and recently again.
This is a good opportunity to show what we can do!

This is what we should do 1st:
1.post your Ideas here.(mabe show a rough outline)
2.The team will pick the one we wish to do.
3.we assign jobs. What this means is if you see something you can do and you have the time to do it post/pm what you would like to do.
4.Post the work you've done so the next part may be done.
5.post and the fineshed work and ask the fans if the love it.
6.Sit back and enjoy.

So lts get to it!

btw, the first pic is from the movie, the second is from the fanart section, the third is an entry from the costume contest, the fourth is line work be the all awesome Itmon (you can see his DA page here: http://itmon.deviantart.com/ .....I would suggest that you ask him before using his stuff, some people tried to steal his art recently and he was majorly POed about it...not that I blame him.  One of them was trying to sell it on E-bay.  If you ask, chances are that he will say yes), and the fifth is from a SW exhibit.....

See I kinda know how to make stuff.. but terra just proved that she is really a graphic designer/ web designer because she knows how to get the ideas out of people and make it work. Very practical stuff we need to know.

I did say that we would have to ask...and I have not heard a reply from Cujo or Rev so I was thinking in logical terms of asking for permission. Also I want to have (as I said before) fan made stuff like: Costumes,art,toys/collectibles,and the such.
If we keep restricting our selves it will never get done.
I am not saying that we shouldn't ask or use copyrighted stuff in fact I said the opposite, I just think we should get going. I'll ask Cujo and Rev about drawling something  and I will also ask about the fan armor. Phoenix023 has a lot on the plate as it is (I will ask but it could be a while before they find time) if someone else is good at coloring please tell me.

Lol, I actually finished up some stuff, so my plates a little clearer now. ;)  Besides, coloring goes pretty fast for me.

Ah if only you COULD buy stuff like courage,motivation,good looks...well maybe you can buy good looks.
