I was reading up on Boba in his Wiki page and noticed this picture that was added to Ep. IV in the SE:

If you look closely, you can see that the Mythosaur skull is missing. Is this just a stupid oversight? Or is it a benignly brilliant move by Lucas to give writers an opening to give Boba a link to his Mandalorian roots sometime in between Ep. IV and Ep. V? Perhaps he’s giving KT or some other writer an opening to say that Boba had forgotten/abandoned his Mando upbringing, but sometime during that time period he went back to his roots as taught to him by Jango.
So, Brilliant set-up or stupid oversight?

Or they made a stupid mistake by switching the shoulder plates around.

That could be, I never thought of that. Maybe for the SE armor they painted it on the wronge side. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think you get a good look at the SE armor from the other side during the Solo added scene, so not sure if that can be confirmed
