This is spawned from another topic where Durge was brought up and his hatred for Mando's.
I never really got into him all that much, to me it seems like Lucas was trying to "re-create" the Fett like character (cool armor, mysterious, tough, loner) that type of character.
Does anyone know his back story? I think someone mentioned him trying to assassinate a Mandalore. Did he succed or did he fail? What happened and how?
Anyone who can help would be great. Im just trying to expand my knowledge.

Again after reading that artical another prime example of Lucas making a lame story, by making Anikan kill Durge it makes the Mandos look weak and they never got any revenge or payback on Durge for what he did. It just seems that Lucas gives all the glory to whiney little boys insted of true warriors.
Actually, the Mandos did have revenge on Durge. If you read more about him, you'll find that the Mandos were able to capture him and find ways to torture Durge. Eventually Durge escaped, and his hate for Mandos grew. I agree that it was pretty pathetic that Anikan was able to kill Durge
