Topic: First post... May as well show my entry for the costume contest... =)

My sons costume from 2006... Made from a combo of a toy kit, a Walmart trash can, a sweat suit, mock turtleneck, and some bondo/foam/fiberglass for the jetpack. The helmet is the $20 Rubies two piece Jango that I converted. Oh, and some slip on shoes that I spray-painted. Total price was around $150 or so.

Hope you all like it. I'm pretty proud of it considering it was the first costume that I've made/painted.

Thanks... The jetpack could have been better, but it was literally thrown together in 2 days. I didn't even have time for the proper rotj colors, so I fudged an ESB wanna-be scheme for it. ;)

The Jet pack still looks great, and the costume has a ton of details! He looks like a mini Boba Fett with a helmet that looks a bit too big for his body :) The stormtrooper costume looks cool, too!

That is so cute, yet so cool at the same time. Every kids' dream :)

And now in recent news, Boba Fett, famed bounty hunter, was shrunk down to three feet tall today, while searching for noted rebelion officer Han Solo. The details remain unknown, but Boba alowed us to photograph him with a storm-trooper. Unfortuanately he became annoyed and fried our reporter, but he calmed down, and alowed more pictures to be taken. Any relevant information about a cure will be rewarded with 10,00 credits.

That is adorable!!!! How old was the kid? Judging his height against yours I'd say fairly young? He must be really well behaved for you to get him dressed in that and for him to not mess it up.

Thanks, guys... My son is excited to be featured with the other fantastic costumes on the winners page. He's also looking forward to his figure pack as well. Neither of us have ever entered, or won, anything... Its a pretty good feeling. Good times. ;)
