Okay, what would happen if Batman came into conflict with Boba Fett, with full access to all of their gadgets, barring vehicles?  I think this would be an interesting matchup, personally.  Both are the best in their businesses, and in different environments, both would excel.  What do you guys think?

Boba Fett. His training is much more extensive and he has a blaster.  (I bet you he can and has fought in zero g)

(But in all truth the winner would be Chuck Norris)

Considering Batman's training and ninja like abilities, I don't think Norris could beat him.  Anyways, in a zero G environment, Fett would win.  But in the case of a crowded street at night, Batman would have the advantage of stealth, and his own gadgets.  In hand to hand fighting, I also think Batman would eventually come out on top, after a hard fight.  In a ranged battle, however, Fett would dominate.

I think in close range, boba would have a good, if not equal chance.
If the street is crowded It wouldnet make a difference to boba, i dont think. He could just mow every thing down. Read Overkill. (atleast i think thats what its called.) Its a comic.

I've heard of it.  I think Bats would find ome way to steer the confrontation away from civilians, and try to force Fett to stay on the defensive.

Flame thrower. on a street, filled with people. Devastating, Batman would probably get confused, then shot.

Possibly.  Unless he managed to direct Fett's attention to himself, and/or sever the fuel line to the 'thrower with a well aimed batarang (he's got wicked aim with those things).  He also has a fireproofed costume, so he wouldn't be as affected by the fire.  A couple of flash-bangs would keep Boba's vision on the blink, and in that time, Bats could simply move out of the way, or attack Fett.  I doubt civilians would really stand around to watch a Fett/Batman fight; a guy in armour or costume is enough to send more sensible people running for the hills.  Batman has been at his job long enough to circumvent civilian casualties and injury to himself.  However, Fett too has been at the killing business long enough to have a distinct advantage. So in the end, it would largely depend on circumstances, location, and type of conflict.

With full access to their tech & ships? I'd have to go with Fett on that. Slave I can beat the Batmobile/Batplane/Batboat/etc..

But face to face I'd give it to Batman.  I'm sure Batman is a much better trained hand to hand than Fett.

You kidding? Boba can kill Jedi with his fists. C'mon it's no match.

I'd say it's a close match.  Batman's strength is in his hand to hand fighting.  Boba killed Jedi with his hands, yes, but usually not without other factors to  distract or keep the Jedi off guard.  Hand to hand, it'd be a close one; Bats has had training in a LOT of different martial arts, and has managed to survive as far as he has.  Fett's a gizmo guy, like Bats, but in tech, he'd waste.  Which is why I prefer to think of this matchup as one-on-one, weapons allowed, but not additional ships or vehicles (Fett would be ahead of Bats by one giant blast crater otherwise...)

Well, that isn't actually proven fact.  This isn't either, but it's relating to canon information, making it sorta kinda almost proven fact.
It is also generaly recommended that one doesn't post twice in a row.
And your message topic was back in June, with the most recent post, and it didn't show up on my Role Playing Page, so I didn't know it had been created.  My apologies

All Chuck has to do is step outside his house and they've already made a mess of themselves.

November 29, 2007 4:04 pm #

Thats funny but not true, Boba would fry chuck with a nice plasma blast

"Sir, Finishing this Cake."
November 29, 2007 4:07 pm #

Eh, no. Boba would try to, but the plasma blast would come within five centimeters of his chest, then stop and turn around going right back into the barrel of the blaster, causing it to explode and overload any explosives on Boba, killing every one within a twenty foot radius.....exept Chuck Norris

You could use the edit button, instead of posting twice.
And Adeptus, Chuck Norris isn't invincible.
