Topic: boba or jango (who's better)

Hello all,    im going to cast my vote with the "Greatest Bounty Hunter In The Galaxy"......BOBA FETT*****    after all, boba has a waaaay better reputation and has alot of people in fear of him and wanting him dead. This MEAN GREEN FIGHTING MACHINE has easily risen above his fathers tallents and abilities. He also made some critical upgrades to the Slave 1.

I think Boba is much better and he has killed jedi becase some of my comics say he helped wipe out the rest of the jedi.

I started with Boba and I'll end with Boba.I'm not sure Boba killed any Jedi though,i don't get my hands on comics often so i may be wrong, but I thought that Boba doesn't take revenge...

Yeah, I'm going to have to say that Boba Fett is better than Jango.  While Jango was trained by the mandalorians, Boba was trained by Jango for a while.  After that though, he was on his own.  You have to give him credit for surviving so long in a galaxy with no one but himself at such a young age.

I agree, Boba is much cooler and more skillful.

I dont know much about Jango's past, but Boba suffered a lot.Oh, and trust me...if the Jedi were still around, Boba would probably have a collection of Jedi heads, in revenge of Jango.

Boba DOES have a collection of Jedi heads as revenge for Jango.

Jango Fett.  He's a skilled and honorable gunslinger.  The twin Westar blaster pistols make him amazing.  Watch in Episode II when he is shooting Mace Windu  right before he gets his head chopped off, in his final battle at the Geonosis Arena.  Watch where he shoots his gun.  It seems as if he knows the target locations on where to hit a jedi, where it is hard for them to block.  Mace was just too good.

well they both very good, janog is a good gun slinger,
but boba has been thiought more.
my point to jango, his was a real mandolaran thats alsome alone.

Jango's cool with his armor and stuff, but I still say Boba is definately the better warrior. ;)

I didn't like the fact that they keep making Boba Fett live on all the time.  It seems as if they are re-using him all the time and then make him survive whatever encounter he comes into.  Then he comes back in the next game or book. 

Here is a question probably asked over a billion times in this forum.  Did Boba Fett survive the Sarlacc Pit?  Who said that he survived?  Did George Lucas state it or was it someone else?

I heard that you should only believe what was shown in the movies.  The movies shown him falling in and dying.  Then there is the other canon that is the books and comics.  I heard you can believe this as long as it doesn't contradict what the movies shown.  Since the movie shown him dying and the books say he lived what should I believe is the right one?

I dont really know what to believe anymore! :/ All I know is that you should forget about the Jaster Mareel is Boba thing, Lucas said that it wasn't true.  I follow the books, you can do whatever you want.

Does someonelse know the full answer to this question?

I always am switching off favorite characters.  The Fett's are always in the top 5.  Boba and Jango are both really good and as of now, I can't choose.

I think if it was like a comparison beteween boba and jango i'd say boba, but if it was like a fight between them i'd say jango would win. I mean jango knows boba, and when i say "knows boba" i mean KNOWS BOBA!!! his fighting styles, his ships basic capabilities, what he would do in every kind of situation! it might've been a long time from when jango died to when boba became the greatest bounty hunter ever, but everything that boba did was taught to him by his dad. (Then again they would never fight each other).

I like them both equally, bit in a fight, my vote lies with Boba.  He is at least as good a fighter as Jango is.

It's a tough choice, but I get the impression Boba is an improvement over Jango.

I like to think both are true Mandalorians at heart.  Boba's probably a little smarter then Jango going by accounts, but Jango might be a little tougher/stronger.  Hard to say

I think that Boba is way cooler than Jango. Sure he doesn't do much in the movies but I still like him more.

1 Boba "blasted" his way out and made it out alone
2 Dengar helped him out

Either way -- I just don't know anyone else that has survived the Sarlacc... good thing Boba is 'indigestible' (as he told Solo)

The success of Boba Fett in the fan base is the only reason Jango even exists. Lucas saw a way to cash in and inflated BF's role in the whole SW universe because he knew the fans would dig it. (Total sell-out)

Personally, Jango Fett does not even exist to me. I know that's harsh but I am really old school about SW. There is a bunch of stuff I could go into but just for starters...You can't tell me that a "bad ass" bounty hunter such as Jango Fett didn't think to leave his son with a nice nest-egg so that Boba didn't have to go around scrounging bits and pieces of armor here and there and use second-hand materials to get himself into shape. I mean look how clean Jango's armor is...just not buying it.
Boba Fett rules! Especially the prototype used for the Kenner card.

Yeah i knida agree with that mentality. More and more i am starting to ignore the prequel movies. Side to side with the OT, the prequels are so damn stupid. However, i think boba's armor is Jango's repainted. I never thought it was but i think i recently read that somewhere. Also Jango did leave instructions and money and his ship to boba, he knew as a bounty hunter the lifestyle was dangerous enough to prepare his son.

i thought boba acquired old armor that jango acquired from jaster mereel or something (not sure). of course, boba is the better of the two.

Yeah thats another story ive heard, idk which is right.
