Ok, Sunday I was watching Adult Swim. Then on a commercial (i was watching Family Guy, where they had a star wars moment), it goes to a screen saying that June 17, Lucasfilms and the creators of Robot Chicken are going to do something. Robot Chicken is one of my favorite shows, and their star wars parodies are great. this looks fun.

I think its supposed to be twice as long as a regular episode so its going to be like, a half an hour long. And yes Robot Chicken is freak'n hilarious, and with a whole episode about Star Wars? cant wait...

Well, just saw RC: Star Wars.
Including the Fett scene.

Uh, enjoyed most of it (Fett's part), right up until the end. Then I kinda thought: Hmmm, someone's mind's a little twisted... then again, it IS Robot Chicken and twisted IS the point.

However, the George Lucas scene with the stampeding fans and the taun taun in the elevator - that was priceless.
I think that was the best scene they had in the whole production.
Gave me new appreciation for the Flanneled One.

holy crap, that was hilarious!

June 17, 2007 7:46 pm #

"Our tongues can't repel flavor of THAT magnitude!"....priceless. The Admiral Ackbar scene was the best.
"Awww this cereal sucks." "Its a trap!" hilarious

I just saw it as well! My TV guide says it's playing again at 11 and then every hour on the hour all night, so I probably watch again at 11 if it's true.

I really loved all the skits, those guys are genius. After watching the Fett/Han scene, I'm guessing that a few people on here will be unhappy with it (particularly the guys)... well, for obvious reasons. But I thought it was hilarious! Totally wasn't expecting that...

The Ponda Baba (Aqualish alien guy) scene was funny too, but it made me sad.... :'(

The whole gay thing with Boba, well, if we laugh at what we love then whats the point?

This episode was such a ****ing rip-off. Most of it was Star Wars clips from other episodes.

I'm just helping Boba Fett and killing wookies for him.
June 17, 2007 8:41 pm #

There's was only two from past episodes... right?
Palpatine on the phone with Vader after the Death Star was destroyed... and then the one of Vader & Luke in Cloud City.
Besides, I don't blame them for using old clips. It probably takes them weeks just to do a one scene. I'm sure a lot of work and patience goes into stop motion. Those old clips were good enough to show again, maybe they didn't have enough time to make enough new scenes...

Yes yes, Palpatine finding out Death Star blew up=priceless. I can NEVER watch that scene too many times.

It hasn't aired here yet. D= Pacific Time and all....

ok, my favorite scenes would be: Admiral Ackbar cereal, Death Star= :( (it never gets old), the end of the George Lucas sketch, and the Fett scene.

June 18, 2007 3:20 pm #

Well, once it started to air I watched it all night you know. It was still halariou all night long. Toshi Station presents....THE POWER CONVERTERS!!

I even actually drew art related to the Admiral Ackbar's scene, LOL.

I'm so glad I have DVR. Because I always have trouble with the VCR. I've watched it at least three times now. I swear digital recording is the greatest invention to Television since color.

"I don't tell you how to threaten your blond kind over there..."
The Second Death Star construction bit was hilarious but I mostly enjoyed the janitor at the bottom of the reactor shaft sketch that ran through the episode.

And Admiral Ackbar; just wow. I should have seen it coming.

Or, the pretend he's actually strangling us bit then drag the "corpse" of and give him a moustache...

I'll abdicate at the drop of a hat

That's Breckin Meyer voicing Fett, right?

June 19, 2007 7:39 pm #

I wonder if Jeremy Bulloch has seen it... since he's so big on the fan scene. I wonder what he'd think... too bad he's not on here, lol.

The last few seconds of that scene were a bit gay...

June 19, 2007 8:19 pm #

Gustavo... that was the point!
If you ask me, Seth Greene and his buddies seem relatively fascinated with... homosexuality.
At one point during their little "special" they made Luke & the Emperor (the dolls) start making out...

But anyways, it's all just a joke and not to be taken seriously. Besides, there's nothing wrong with being gay, and if Boba was gay it wouldn't matter to me.

No, Gustavo, I wouldn't, because being a homosexual doesn't make you any different from anyone else! Just because a person finds love among their own gender, doesn't mean that the individual deserves to be hatred or treated with cruelty and like they have some sort of disgusting sickness!
It's a life choice, a serious life decision that certain people make when choosing a partner.

I'm sorry, I don't mean this to turn into a debate on homosexuality, but Gustavo's comment has fired me up, because I have friends and relatives who are homosexual and even bisexual. I'm not going to sit quite while he spreads ugly discrimination right in front of me!

So yeah... I'm perfectly fine with the Boba/Han scene.
I believe I forgot to mention how much I loved the "Yo Mamma" joke stand off between Luke & Palpatine. Very funny, as their actually is a pathetic show on MTV called "Yo Mama" and all they do is have yo mama joke contests...

now now i dont mean to spread "ugly descrimination" and i never said they deserve to be hated, so really, u're getting all "fired up" becuz of nothin. and besides this is easy for girls to say cuz dey dont know wats its like bein a guy. and i was fine with the boba scene except i dont like the ending much, dats all.

Gustavo, this board has rules, and it limits the "freedom of speech" very clearly. Your last post, especially with "firing [us] up," wasn't welcome here.

Manji_Ninja, I just asked Jeremy to drop by. We'll see.

Well I may have gone a teeny bit too far, but I wasn't trying to spread "nasty descrimination" or w/e.
