Who do you think is the all-time most ruthless bounty hunter.  Pick out of these choices:

Boba Fett

Jango Fett

4-Lom

Dengar

IG-88

Bossk

Greedo

Hammerhead

The pen is mightier than the blaster!

Bossk

Fear my spears and rocks! :)
April 29, 2007 2:15 am #

well a there r a couple on that list that im not sure i would call ruthless.
greedo-could be bought.
and we really know very little of 4-loms work...
and hammerhead? i think the guy from the cantina might have been a priest.

on this list i think i would go with bossk, didnt he eat his dad-to get ahead? case rested.

dont forget montross from st:bounty hunter, he seemed pretty cold blooded.

I would say Boba, before Traviss intervened. Aurra Sing and Kenix Kil were pretty ruthless. In my opinion, you should offer the option of every bounty hunter. The way it is set up now, you cannot decide the most ruthless bounty hunter ever, just those seven.

There is also Calo Nord, Da'har'han (spelling?) and a couple others that I can't name off the top of my head.

I would say Bossk with Boba Fett so close he is almost interchangable.

Probably Montross. Boba killed for credits, Montross killed for fun. Montross is such an @$$ Jango owned that mother f***er so hard.

I think the most ruthless is Boba.

oh!why'd ya slice of mah hand?!
April 30, 2007 2:16 pm #

I'd say Dengar and IG-88. They're both practically emotionless and feel very little of anything (Well, Pre-Manaroo Dengar anyways). Boba and Aurra follow close behind. The rest seem like they try too hard.

And who's Hammerhead? That Ithorian in the Cantina? I don't think he was a bounty hunter. Ithorians are too peaceful for that. There was a black skinned hunter called Djas Puhr in the Cantina, but that's all I know.

Boba Fett

I think that because is lead by being cold and calculating rather than passion.

It is said in the bounty hunter wars that Boba likes to keep his ship surgically clean and scrubs the cargo area after every job that he does. I think this proves how his mind works. He thinks logically and generally is unclouded by emotion.

Another reason why I think he is the most ruthless is the way how he uses others and then discards them without a though when they have no more use to him.

Aurra sing would have to be one of the most ruthless. Not only did she hunt the Jedi for money she it did for revenge as well and she would mock them as she did! Thats pretty cold

It's Clearly: Boba Fett
                  Jango Fett
                  Ordo
                  IG-88A,B,C and D
                  HK-47
                  Calo Nord

I agree with Devil Girl. Boba is ruthless because of this emotionless way he has with dealing with his subjects and clients. I would also say that Bossk is fairly ruthless because of the father eating thing, but that is the nature of the Trandoshan. If the Hammerhead refered to in the original list is the one that is in Chalmun's Cantina during EP IV, he is not a bounty hunter, but rather a Rebel supporter named Momaw Nadon that was breeding plants to survive in Tatooine's harsh environment.

Boba, I think is the up in the top...  IG-88 is up there too, simply because when I read Tales I started looking at all the appliances around the house and imagining what would have happened if he had gotten to them, and it was a little scary.  (Think bad B movie here.)  XD

HK isn't a Bounty Hunter, he's strictly an Assassin, albeit a defective one.

If the Ordo you're talking about is Canderous, then he isn't a Bounty Hunter either. He's a Mercenary turned Mandalore.

HK-47 and Boba Fett

July 17, 2007 6:27 am (Edited July 17, 2007 06:28 am) #

As Thylacine pointed out, HK-47 is not a bounty hunter, he is an assassin.

IG-88 might be the most ruthless, in my opinion.

no he isn't. A bounty hunter is some one who takes bounties and hunts them. (hence the name) HK-47 is an assassin droid who works for his master for free. he does what he is told and kills for both fun and because he is programmed to.

Actually, he got stopped by Boba. Blown up I believe. If you look closey during ESB, you can see his body on Bespin.

It's in the background, when they're on Cloud City if I remember correcty. He's kind of tannish/white. He blends in pretty good, so you got to look closely.

Jango's pretty ruthless. The way he killed Zam and because of the way he left Montross alive to suffer after their fight in SW:BH instead of killing him off quickly. When he cut Viszla so the Dire-Cat would eat him alive was pretty cold too.

If I was totally sane, I wouldn't be as good at my job.

You have a point with Zam, but I disagree with the other two. Jango did not kill Montross because he did not want to be as cruel as Montross. However, torture without a purpose would not count as ruthlessness (assuming that that is a word). Making them suffer without a benifit proves Jango's desire for vengance, not his ruthlessness.

He didn't wanna be as cruel as Montross? After the fight he tell's Montross to save a place in Hell for him( hehehe Star Wars has a concept of Heaven and Hell). And I thought ruthless meant not having pity or mercy. Letting someone be torn apart when you could give them a merciful blaster bolt to the head seems lik it's lacking in mercy. But maybe we just interpreted his actions and motivation for those actions differently.

After what you just said I wonder if Boba Fett is the most ruthless bounty hunter or not. He would not kill or torture without purpose. would he?

I don't think so.

My vote goes to Aurra Sing

Hurm... I want to say IG-88 just because he doesn't care about who he kills, he just wants to conquer The Galaxy. Sentient beings being ruthless is much more than droids though. Other than IG-88, I would say that Boba is the most ruthless bounty hunter.

Carry on my wayward son!
March 18, 2009 10:33 am #

I would say IG-88 and BF

Boba is a clever, genius killing machine, that doesn't stay and chat, and he does it ifficiently.

IG-88 broke from his metal tomb from the Czerka Laboratory and killed everyone there. He is also very smart, and has laser proof armour most of the time.

Plus, he ordered the Death of the worker on that planet. His protocol droid killed him with a blaster pistol, two times in the chest.

IG is smart, and Boba is Strong :)

I would have to go with Boba or Jango.

I would say Bossk. I mean he killed his dad to try to get ahead in the bounty hunters guild. Not even Boba would do that.  I still think Boba is the best hunter though.

Man, I'd have to go with IG-88. And quickly speaking of 4-Lom, he joined the Rebel Alliance at one point, call that ruthless. Anyways. I'd have to say that IG-88 is the most ruthless bounty hunter because he has no emotions, nothing. Just saying.
