When somebody puts a dvd in and hits play, usually 9 times out 10 if not all 10, the screen will read " This movie has been digitally altered from its original. It has been reformatted to fit this screen." maybe not those exact words but close to it. I noticed this doesn't always hold true and really fully isnt altered. I did notice that the special editions are though. Now im sure you are all saying DUH! but this is a new Star Wars achievement! It is technically the only 3 movies that in fact hold that entire statement true. Me and my friends just noticed this and i thought that was cool.

All movies are altered because nobody (that I know) has a movie theater sized screen in their house. They are reformatted to fit the screen. And Star Wars isn't the first, but it is definately the most prominant.
LOTR is another edited series as it added those 15 hours of deleted scenes.
Good... Bad... I'm the one with the gun.
