Topic: Superbowl 41

THE COLTS WON THE SUPERbOWL 29 - 17!!! I did not like either team, I just rooted for the colts, because Colt is my favortie firearm company (lol)

In Football standards, that was probably the worst played game I have ever seen in my life. Yes I know it was raining pretty hard, but there were like 10 fumbles, 3 missed kicks, and a bunch of other stuff that shouldn't happen.

But since I'm not a big fan of Football, I thought it was a lot more exciting than most superbowls. The first play runback got everyone out of their seats yelling... and I have to say, when 2 turnovers happen in 2 consecutive downs... great fun.

I came back from a trip to town right after halftime, so I did not see the first half :( but I saw the whole second half. it was not a very good superbowl.

But everyone knows it's not the game we all sit to watch. It's the commercials that bring in the real crowds. :P

I did not like the half time show. Alice Cooper would have been much better, in my opinion. I was betting some big money on that game. I made a cool dollar :P.

Prince was pretty cool though. His electric guitar was sweet looking. But I thought the game was good. I'm glad the Colts won because Peyton Manning deserves to go to the hall of fame. I spent my time last night watching the Super Bowl and eating double-fried and extra spicy homemade buffalo wings. I had like 24...they were delicious.....yum....

People here treated it like the day before Christmas. At work we had every checkstand open (nine checkstands) and we still had lines. It was crazy.

....all over some big guys groping each other over a stupid ball. :P

I wanted the bears to win because i hate payton manning. he is over publisized and the win just makes it worse now cuz he will be on every cover of everythig football now even more then he is. im not saying he dont deserve it its just hes there way to much

Grossman played like a peice of crap. Lovie should've replaced him with Greise like he was going to do. My family was saying that it would've been a mistake if Lovie DID replace Grossman (which makes no sense to me), but hey, if they won, who's really going to be thinking about who was replaced right?

Sadly, I don't know much more, since I was half passed out having only an hour of sleep the previous night.

Bad HalfTime Show yeah Alice cooper would've beens sweet but KISS would've kicked arse or Ozzy

Prince was terrible... He didn't even sing his own songs. I think he finally realized nobody listens to his songs anymore. Why can't they get somebody that at least some people want to listen to. Last year, nobody complained about the Rolling Stones.

Yeah, I didn't like Prince's singing......I was just staring at that guitar the whole time....

I was rooting for the Colts, but I only really watched it for the commercials. I loved last year's superbowl for two reasons...the Stones and Steelers! Yay!

Did any1 see the commercial for Bud Lite? This is how it goes:
A guy and his girlfriend are driving down the street at nighttime. Suddenly, a shady guy wearing a hood appears, and he is holding some Bud Lite and an AXE! The guy in the car says:
"That guy's got Bud Lite!" and his girlfriend replies
"And an axe!" and then the guy says
"But he's got Bud Lite!" So they pull over to the mystery man, and the guy in the car asks
"Hey, what's that axe for?" and the stranger says
"Uhh, it's a bottle opener." so the guy says
"OK, hop in." and the commercial continues as the trio continues down the road. Suddenly, another stranger appears with Bud Lite and a CHAINSAW! And the guy driving says
"Hey, that guy's got Bud Lite!" and the guy with the axe says
"And a chain saw!" and then the Bud Lite ads come on and the commercial ends. It was funny! :D
And I know this is off topic but did any1 know that the actor of Chad Vader in the Chad Vader series (Matt Sloan) also plays Plo Koon in the movies?

Little known fact 70% of the people go to the washroom during the game.  Commercials are always funny.  But the game was pretty good.  Wasn't the best but it was still entertaining as always.

Super Bowl 41 sucked! I liked last Super Bowl mainly cuz the Steelers are my fav. team.

The commercials were sweet though, I liked the one where the 2 guys grabbed the beer and the said:
"Play you in rok paper scizors for it." then, the other guy says:
"OK 1, 2, 3 sho..." Thwack! and he throws a rock at him and the guy on the ground says"
"I had paper" and the other guy says:
"I had a rock" and walks away with the beer.

Yeah that was my fav commercial and I liked the whole SuperBowl overall. About Prince, didn't he sing 1 of his own songs, Purple Rain?
