Topic: The Force Unleashed 2

i read in a gameing magazine that due to an outrage of fans complaining about the first one; that the people that did The Force Unleashed are going to be making another video game of how the rebellion realy began, and Vader's real secret apprentice..  and that this one was just a dream..  :/       don't know if it's true...

  has anyone else heard about this?

I doubt that happened or will happen. As far as I know everyone loved Force Unleashed. I loved it. And with what all they did with it I don't think they'd just get rid of it all. There were action figures, a novel, a comic, etc.

That Game was Excellent and everyone I know who played it, Loved it, Starwars Fan or not. That was the first game that the Jedi Powers really worked WELL in combat. As far as the story, I think there were a few grumbles about How well it fit in the Total Scheme of the Story we know, but Hey, you have your Purists in every Fan Genre. I Personally love anything Star Wars from Video Games to Toilet paper. They wanna make another one, I'll buy it, and tell every one else to buy it. I would even bet the Whiney Critics will buy it, and say they hate it. (but deep down inside, you know the HoneyComb Kid in them LOVES it..}

um pretty sure there won't be a sequel.. i think lucas said that TFU for the most part was canon.

If there was a sequel, it'd be big news. Given that I hang out on the gaming side of the internet a lot, I definitly would've heard about it. Not to mention a sequel to a game that popular would've been announced at E3.

Though I'd not doubt a sequel. Just not for a while, I imagine. And it could improve on a lot.

Not everyone loved it. I personally enjoyed it, but it didn't have enough replay value, it was short, especially considering the development time. Yeah, the powers were done pretty well, but could have been done better. You can do some ridiculous stuff in quicktime events, but not as much in the actual game. And most of the quicktime events weren't varied enough--there were maybe 2 per mini-boss enemy.

They should have made them completely customizable. If I want to pick the order of how I finish off an enemy, I should be able to do so. It wouldn't be hard.

Plus, cutscenes needed to reflect your costume and lightsaber. Its not that hard.

If you picked the order of your quicktime events what would stop you from skipping, say, the part where you jump on top of something, stabbing, then jumping to another part and stabbing? Why not go straight to the finishing blow part? What fun is there in that? And you know people would do that too. And then they wouldn't really be anything to it. Beating a boss would be easy.

And I thought the cutscenes did include the clothes you had on? I would see if you were wearing something ridiculous, like one of the other costumes (I don't remember it's been a while, but I thought you could wear costumes from other characters throughout the movies? I've only worn the real ones it gave you such as the almost naked one, and the bounty hunter armor and stuff), that it would switch you back to normal. But then again I did spend most my time in his actual costume. So maybe it did do that and I don't remember cause of that.

Well there were some things that just frustrated me to no end. Some things we're just impossible for me to do. And that *expletive deleted* star destroyer drove me to insanity. Personally I was expecting some thing different. Maybe I should play it again with a fresh mind? But i can see how some people would be disappointing.

I definitely found it a dissapointment, how it's canon, I have no idea, but so much that was once canon in SW is now considered non-canon, so I think this will be too, in a few years. But I do hope they make a sequel that isn't dissapointing.

All I have to say, is that the story was amazing, however the game play while not in Oisk Town was definitely on the highway to it.

Simply said it wasn't worth 60$...I should of just spliced the cut scenes together and imagined the rest...I suppose there's always Ebay...

I didn't read all the posts but I just bought (and LOVE) the ultimate sith edition for (get this) PC!! 
This might be what they are talking about. It's the "What if...?" storry where you go and fight Obi, luke, oh yeah and BOBA FETT!!!

I have a ASUS gaming rig with 1GB dedicated V-Ram and 8GB Ram.
(so I can't say how it plays on lower rigs. You can't change ANY of the graphics settings)

It plays like a dream and looks lovely. I love playing as Jango/Imp' gunner. (I love that big black helm.)

It's also a DLC for x-box but I'm a hard core PC gamer so... yeah.

I'm wondering how they're going to explain him still being alive, unless this is a prequel to the first game or something.

Ooh I am looking forward to this coming out. I have nearly finished the first game and I have really enjoyed it.

So, I'm playing the demo to Force Unleashed II.  There's just something kind of self-satisfying about being able to lop off arms and heads now when you're using your lightsaber.

Oh yeah, and there's this neat little background easter egg in the Kamino cloning facility you escape from.

I haven't played the first yet-- but I'll definitely play the sequel either way just to see Boba-- hopefully it won't disappoint in that aspect.

I got Force Unleashed II for Christmas. Haven't played much of it yet but love it so far. Also got a Darth Vader lightsabre attachment for my Wii Remote - Santa was good to me this year! :D

I seriously need to get those games.
I'm curious beyond belief, and I need more Star Wars games to play.
I'm gettin' antsy xD

Just recently I purchased The Force Unleashed II for the Wii and also read the graphic novel adaptation (featuring a helmet-less Boba, in fact the story centers on him).

My only complaint is the same that other people have, the story is shorter than the first game. Everything else is fabulous.

The game was so fun but it seemed so short.  I've never finished a game in two days before lol.  I got the first Force Unleashed ultimate sith edition for my mac but glitches are keeping me from playing it.  Whenever I get to a certain level, it goes all green :(
