Topic: Where is the Fett in your life?

i have a life size cutout of boba in my room.
i have a mando costume.
ive got like 13 mando/fett action figs.
slave 1 die cast and toy version.

Well, there is just no winning with you.  I would have shot two rockets off set by 21 foot, also known as "lunging distance" approx the distance a motivated person can cover in 3 seconds from a stand still.  Their interlocking lethal radius would overlap a bit and produce a very lethal area.

When we throw grenades at baddies, we throw two to four.  We account for an inert dud (lowest bidder afterall) and to get a more lethal area and also to prevent them getting kicked back PELE style.

The lethal radius with the 2 rockets was huge. Cut roughly in half, it would still be very effective.

I have various Fett items, and in addition Fett is everywhere I go, for he is a shining example of perseverance (refusing to give up), honor, and various other great qualities.

I love this topic, its so true what you guys say.
i became a masive fan of star wars from jango, and i always imagine him in his stories and what he did and how he overcame them. i imagine him talking to me and stuff.
Plus everytime me and my anime friend talk, i always say jango would whoop that cartoons a**.
Jango also served as an inspiration for me to join ROTC.

Draco, i dont see why you dont like jango, how can you call him a coward and such?

i dont see many people in star wars doing what jango has done. tell me people who have done all everything that hes done?
hes killed jedi,sith,soliders,thugs, etc... the list goes on and on.

If you read through the posts, you will see my reasons. You will also see that i haven't called him a cowar in some time.

*sigh* Draco, the dude knows what he's talking about. I still cannot believe you are making a big deal of the 2 rocket/laser things. I would have done the same; made sure they were good and dead. Sometimes what seems like overkill (as Viking pointed out) is necessary.

For all he knew, they could have been wearing body armor, and fire retardant clothing. Also, ever think the animators wanted to make the frame look awesome with a huge explosion? Eh?

Oh and in other news Boba is now with me whereever I go because I bought a Boba Fett key chain that i attached to my keys.

And everyone else is defending him over a panel in a comic.

This may not be as impressive as the rest of you guys but I recently bought a Boba Fett boggle head. Now he can be with whereever I go.

Explsions are fun! Why does it matter if he used 1, 2 or ten rockets. Just because you don't agree that doesn't mean its wrong does it?

I don't have much Fett in my life, per se. I have an action figure and the bobble head. I hope my mom or someone gets me the fat head beacuse I just think that would look spiffy next to my computer :D

I've never said it was wrong. I've just stated my opinion of Jango, and defended my reasoning because it seems s lot of eople here can't except that my opinion on this is different than theirs'. I've never even said that I wouldn't have done the same thing.

Draco's right actually. Surely Jango would value stealth over a loud explosion. Poison darts over rockets.

Not to spam,  Die-cast Boba Fett figure with removable helmet(with a face underneath)is my most valued possesion. I stay strong when I think of his accomplishments.

Ha! I have the bobble head too! It's here in my college dorm on my desk... I love flicking his helmet every now and then. XD

And... I hate to interfere, but as a mod Draco, shouldn't you be encourage members to stick on topic? Carrying on a argument over Jango Fett really has no place here in the "Where is the Fett in your life" topic.

Anyway, other than the bobble head, I have several T-shirts, a hoodie, a key chain, large pin, regular action figure, 12" action figure, random pics printed from the internet, a mini Master Replicas .33 scaled Boba Fett blaster rifle... and I think that's it. ^^

Lately there have been some additions to the Fett in my life. I have two Boba Fett pens, writng pads, sets of boba Fett push pencils, and a cinch sack. Life is good.

I own a .475 Wildey Magnum ( the gun used by Charles Bronson in "Death Wish III"), and I have been thinking of having the wood case it comes in engraved with "WESTAR 34"

Would that be cool, or not. Honestly, I can't decide.

I dont tend to preach the Fett to often. But I love to discuss Boba with other Starwars fans and will do so for hours on end.

I think that in a way Boba Fett shaped me to be the person I am today. I don't really know how he did it, but he did. I guess you could say he's my role model, and I hold a great deal of respect for him. I have loads of books on Boba Fett, and get this, I've printed out and saved all articles on Boba Fett I can find. I also have tried to learn Huttese, just because Fett speaks it, and I think that its one of the most important languages in Star Wars. I have a titanium figure of Boba Fett, and It sits constantly on my desk, and a few other Fett action  figures. I guess Fett is more of a mental connection for me, and not so much physical, although I'd have to say, the physical part isn't exactly lacking.

I just love the way he looks :p

I have been a Boba fan since I saw him when I saw the original ESB. The silent masked hunter seemed to be far more dangerous than any of the others. I have recently started a tattoo sleeve of the Star Wars universe and when the Vader tattoo heals Boba will be the next part.

At the fast food place next to where I work there is a dude in the kitchen who looks eerily like Temuera Morrison.

That wouldn't be such a big deal but...everytime I eat there he stares at me! In fact the very first time I saw him I thought I was being pranked because he wouldn't stop staring. I was thinking, "Did one of my friends get a Jango look alike to come in here and screw with my mind???"

He was there today, actually and he smiled at me real big. I still get the feeling that some how he knows exactly who he looks like.    :P

On the topic of look-alikes my mom used to work with a guy who looked like Corran Horn on the cover of I, Jedi. ...and as if that weren't enough his last name is Horn. 0_0

Here... There.... Pretty much everywhere...

Well.. I'm coloring him currently to work on my mouse coloring techniques, and see if I can't improve on detail. =3

Also, I'm writing at least two fanfics that have him as a main character, and he keeps popping in as a minor character out of nowhere in other things. I RP as Fett in Furcadia, so he gets in my head.. a lot.

I blame Fett/Tem for giving me an accent. If that isn't geeky, I don't know what is. e.e

When I need a wise quote I never think of going to Shakespear. I just naturally quote Fett. I only own Boba Fett comic books. If it doesn't have Fett in it it isn't worth buying. I find that he seeps into my life a lot of ways. When I need motivation I think "what would Boba Fett do".

The Fett in my life is in my room, there's three of them soon to be four. If I ever figure out how to take pictures of them and post them here I will. The "upload images" function on this forum does not work. I'm also going to be obtaining a couple of Boba Fett shirts as soon as I can.

Where Boba Fett is in my life? Well...Heh. He’s the one character in the Star Wars series that really stood out for me. He was so mysterious and intoduced me to a whole wide of “mysterious” characters. He’s the one reason I expand myself to a franchise’s lore. So say what you want about him. Call him “overrated” (even though he was heavily marketed before he appeared in TESB) or “stupid” but to me, Boba isn’t just a Bounty Hunter or a Villian...He’s a Phenomenon.
