This may have already been brought up once, but I searched and couldn't find it. There have been several quotes in the books about Boba's belief/disbelief in the force.
For example: "That Jedi superstition? Gentlelady Organa, if the Force exists I have seen no proof of it, and I doubt it does."
Boba Fett to: Leia (p. 297)
My question is: Does Boba really not believe in the force? How could he not believe in the force when he can clearly see what Vader can do? (And other Jedi/Sith)
Or is this something that the authors of these stories/books have just invented? Opinions please!

Sorted by oldest to newestI'm pretty sure his views changed after seeing (and training) Jaina Solo, who also found two Mandalorians that could use the Force.
Only dumb people dont believe in the Force, thus it stands to reason that Boba, he being a smart individual, would believe in the Force. Furthermore I doubt that a person who hunted Jedi for a living for many a year, would be able to deny the existence of the only thing that makes a Jedi worth hunting. That something being the Force.

The initial part of your comment seems a bit childish, but I think the latter part of your post answers the question.
Although he may not believe in the Force, he may not deny it's existence either.
I believe in one religion but I don't deny the existence of other religions.
Rogue Fett
Well, the only reason I asked is because he makes comments in several of the books that point to his either not believing in the force, or thinking it is a fictional support for the Jedi. Personally, I can't see how he wouldn't believe it existed, because then he would have to wonder how the Jedi pull off some of the things they do. Maybe he believes in the force as a tool, but doesn't believe that the force "leads" the Jedi? My husband and I have been debating this, and I just wanted some extra input...
Boba most likely means it does not exist as the Jedi think it does.
It's like worshiping a pistol. The pistol is just a tool, a means to an end. It does not lead you, it does not influence events. It is just a tool.

That's kinda what I thought too. That's a great explanation! Thanks!

I'm not saying your not doing your job, just saying I seem to always notice the posts before you do delete them. No big deal.
everyone catches a few every now and then. the mods have lives too man, they're not here 24/7.
Boba does believe in the Force. He just doesn't think that it is that big a deal. He is a mandalorian that is all that counts.
He sees plenty examples of the force, but considers it the easy way. Fett's a guy that has worked his way to where he is through blood, sweat, and tears.
I would say Boba feels the same way about the force that Obiwan thought about blasters. Thinks it is uncivilized. He would rather go toe to toe and test his skill then stand back and force choke them. Anyone can force choke some one, but it takes a master like Fett to do the capture right.
