I didn't read this entire thread. I tried but couldn't do it. :) I think I am the oldest person here at 43.

Don't think twice about it. I'm close behind you since I'm going to be 41 in about 5 1/2 weeks. Not to mention there are other here close to me in age. You can thank the ESB and ANH coming out in the 70's and 80's for that.
I'm 32.
I got to... quite literally.. grow up with Star Wars while it was new.

Yeah, me too. I remember going to the theater to see to see it. Of course we had all the toys, wish I still had them. :)
I know people think I'm nuts with all my Boba Fett stuff and love of video games at my age, but I don't care.
I don't want to grow up.

Who does? lol.
Our generation grew up with videogames. We saw these things evolve from Atari 2600 to games as realistic and eye candy as we know them today. Of course we love them.
My bro had a lot of the toys. I used to insist to play R2D2. I really liked him when I was a little girl, him and Vader were my favourites.
.
Nothing wrong with still playing games and collecting toys, no matter how old you are. It's good to keep some part of that around all the time or you might get too old and forget what it's like to have fun and enjoy stuff.

We had an Atari 2600, I didn't play much when I was young. My children have had about every console out there (spoiled). I would play with them when they asked, but was never very good or interested. I got hooked when my son got Halo 2. I watched him play and got interested in the storyline, I've been playing ever since. I've had my own xbox 360 for a while now, me and my son are currently playing ODST. Gears is my favorite. All kids love me because I will play video games with them. I don't understand why their parents don't play with them. That's how we spend time together at our house. Just about every Saturday me, my husband, my son and my daughter play Left4Dead. It's a hoot and we enjoy our time together.
Yeah, it's great. I love to play videogames with my daughter. With my eldest we love to play Guitar Hero, each their turn. Although, she's definitely better than me, lol.
:P
I'm not very good even after playing for a couple years, but I enjoy it. I can only play Guitar Hero on medium, I have no sense of rhythm. :)
lol, I am lucky IF i get some songs on medium, lol. I'm just not patient enough to practice much.

I still have an Atari 2600 in working order. My wife and I play it fairly often, to boot. Been a bit of an Atari drought the last few weeks.. according to my log I haven't played it in 17 whole days!
Darn Metroid Prime Trilogy and Resident Evil 5 sucking up all my free time.

Don't have the 2600 any more. Still have a Nintendo 64 and a Sega Genesis. There is a place online that keeps track of how much you play on tour xbox 360.

I play way too much. :)
We still have our N64 too, and an SNES but we don't use that anymore cause we got one of those NES/SNES twins. We don't have a Sega, though.

If you have a Wii you can download a lot of old games. We have some Super Mario Brothers games and Sonic The Hedgehog games.
Had an Atari 2600, Sega Master, Genesis, NES,
most of them are still working, but I can't say we play them much as we have many of the same games, and many, many more, as ROMs on my PC.
Daughter got the Wii. We got a few of the old games on it as well.
I wish my old NES still worked, but I got all our old games on the Virtual Console (plus more) so whatever. Man am I jealous though. I wish I could've ever gotten my parents to play video games with me! I could only talk my dad into playing "Old Mario" (Super Mario Bros.) with me every once in a while, maybe an occasional bit of River City Ransom, but never "new Mario" (Super Mario Bros. 3). My mom would never play with me, the only game she could ever get into was River City Ransom.
Yeah well, me it's the other way around. I play more than my eldest, lol. I almost have to beg HER to play Guitar Hero 3 with me. lol.
Lordy, lordy!! Today I become a woman over 40!! I am 41 today. LOL
Happy birthday, Sharra!

Happy B-day Sharra indeed!
No worries, I'm still the oldest here. I was here back in 2002 with Miba when she was just a youngster (LOL), think she's old enough to buy me a beer now. Anyway, I'm past the half century marker, I'm like granddaddy Fett age.
Howdy to Aaron, Mel, Janos (if he's still here), Bats, and any of the old crew that is still here. (*Glomps* Miba back from the intro posts, lol!)
Holy crap its Infamous! You just fell off the face of the earth, man.
Well, when you're as old as me and lived the kind of life I do that can happen.
Turns out Janos is a girl, actually, long story, but she had a reason for saying she was a guy. She's in art college in NY now and doesn't come around these parts anymore. I keep up with her journal but she's just not really into Fett and SW that much anymore. We've really drifted apart.
And Boba Fettish, I follow her journal too. She's in college, not sure for what but she seems to take English, writing, greek, type classes. She's into knitting a lot too. I don't think she's really too into Fett or SW much anymore either.
As for me, yes, I'm almost 23. And I've been married for a year and a half. These days I'm less interested in law enforcement and more interested in sewing for a career. Though my husband, who posts here as Zivi, was in the Navy for a while. I'm a dairy manager at a grocery store and am the Backup ICM and next in line for the ICM position if the current ICM quits. (Inventory Control Manager, keeps track of all the money and inventory and vendors and pays all the store's bills and stuff)
Let's see... Mel got married too, and she has a baby now. I'm not going the baby route just yet, but give it another few years.
And I don't remember who all else was here back then.

I had no idea Janos was actually a girl. o.O That's news to me.
Miss Chrys was around back then too, but I have no idea what happened to her. =/ I must admit, I always thought the wrost had happened to both of you. Good to see you're alive and well though.
i'm 27 :)
1. Suck Less 2. Do Better Learn it, Live it, Love it.
Janos sent me a couple emails to make sure I was still among the living for a bit, but I always wonder how she is (wow, a girl huh? ). Thanks for clearing up that ICM thing, as soon as I saw it the words Inter-Continental Missle popped up in my head. I still think when someone says RPG they mean rocket propelled grenade and not role playing game.
Congrats on getting married, and I won't hold it against you that you ain't into law enforcement anymore, LOL. Whew, 23...I officially feel old now.
Had a birthday Karson? Happy Birthday to you (belated or otherwwise).
Yeah I have a birthday! I was born wasn't I :P
I have not had an actual party sence 2002
Karson, you were only 13? I was somehow under the impression you were 15. Happy Birthday, though.

Me too. I apparently play more shooters than role playing games. :)
Karson, I'm not sure, I've thought it for so long that I don't remember. lol

Well at least you didn't think i was12 or 11 :)

It's my birthday today, I'm turning 23.

:) Thanks! It was pretty good, other than a bad fever and then a headache. My cake was delicious. Triple fudge with mini chocolate chips and the frosting was milk chocolate with peanut butter stirred in!!!

You will be old enough for alcohol soon. Do you plan to have any alcoholic beverages at your birthday celebration?

So, basically you had a Reese's cake. If there is such a thing, anyways (theres probably recipes for them online, no doubt).

That's a horrible question to ask someone. No one should think that they HAVE to do something like drinking just because they're 21. It's like when I turned 18, no, I did not gamble, nor do I have any wish to waste my money. When I turned 21 I was smart enough to realize that drinking is one of the worst things a person can possibly do, and so I didn't do that either. But the pressure of everyone acting silly and all like "Ooh, you're almost 21, are you going to drink?" could be enough to push some people into doing it! Which is just wrong.
And Cecelia, yes, basically that is what it is, I just didn't think of it that way. Now I simply must go search for a reeses's specific cake recipe. mmmm....
