We went to South Australia for seven days, it was absolutely gorgeous. Was like travelling through old English villages. There's heaps of old stone cottages and churches. I found the best bookshop in Adelaide, it had four rows of SciFi and a cafe! Brendan had trouble getting me to leave. I managed to buy a Star Wars novel while I was there (SW Galaxies: The Ruins of Dantooine).

Then we flew to Melbourne for two days, which sucked because we'd both gotten a cold by then (and no we weren't running around outside in the nude). Saw an ancient Greek exhibit at the Immigration Museum. Also went to the zoo and wanted to take the jaguars home with us, they were so cool!

I want to go to that bookstore! :P

But that'd be cool to see the old English-type places, I've never seen stuff like that before.

Brendan doesn't mind sci-fi, he's more into Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy than Star Wars. He refused to watch all of Ep III with me when I brought it home, he found Anakin's seduction to the darkside too annoying to watch. He did enjoy the begining though.

We bought Republic Commando and he's totally addicted. I'm currently playing Knights of the Old Republic. I think he enjoys the SW games more than the movies.

He's a big Lord of the Rings fan. We've got all the extended DVD box sets. Plus I bought him a Gandolf bust for his birthday a few years back. He's more into Sci-Fantasy.

I'm sorry I just couldn't resist XD

No, we saw Puppetry of the Penis. Seemed appropriate :P

But I wish someone had thought of a Fett-jump-out-of-a-cake surprise. Oh well, maybe Brendan will do it for our first anniversary... probably not but I can dream :D

It was from that Star Wars Insider article about the Mandalorians and their culture, that Karen Traviss wrote.  Good stuff.  I forget off the top of my head who did the illustrations, but I can find out for you, if you want.

It is good, it has a twist at the end but I enjoyed it. I'm hoping there will be a sequel :D

I'm still hoping to put up a wedding pic, but dial up is so damn slow!
