is the horizontal navigation dropdown bar going away or are we keeping that as well as the left side new nav bar?

Keeping that one. We'll be making more use of the new, narrow, left-hand column.

the new left-hand side thing is kinda annoying, but i like the background changes!

I like the dropdown menu a lot, the plain text left navbar is kind of an eye soar on the rest of the site

I like the new menu, the last menu kinda blended in to much. I think that the new sidebar will make it easier for newly registered users to navigate the site.

The way everything is now it squishes the boards up. Cause there's that drop-down menu on the left there and then a big empty space running all the way down to the bottom, which pushes the boards over to the right.

Ya. I wonder what else could be added to the left under the navbar?

Indeed, theres so much wasted space on the left and the right. Isn't there any way to expand the space here, in the middle?

Yes, it doesn't extend all the way to the edge of the screen on the left and the right, so there's all this wasted space on both sides of the page.

Cecilia, it's the same width as the rest of the site (as it's been for years and years). It's never been a full-screen design.

Its different and that takes getting used to for me. ( I am too  much a creature of habit these days...) But i happen to agree with Miba's comments.

I know it's never been a full-screen design, but this is too squished. It used to be centered in the screen taking up almost the entire space. Now it's all on the right with a big black nothing to the left.

Ok. Now that it's been that way for a while I'm getting used to it. I just wasn't sure if that was what you were aiming for. It feels... sloppy? I'm not sure if that's the right way to describe it. But yeah, not really complaining, just showing you what it looks like from my browser (firefox).

It's not as noticeable from my Firefox but that's due to the size of my screen.  Although looking at it now I can definitely notice the shift of the page.

That might be why I didn't notice it, I was using Firefox not Explorer.

We'll be using it for more useful things than negative space. ;)

I like the new left bar additions. The spacing between the sub-navigation looks really good and makes it way easier to see. Thumbs up boss

Good, good. I had a moment to fix that up. :-)

I notice the adds on the left, I like what we're using the space for, and now that the adds change it's better. I was getting tired of the fanboys one over and over and over, lol. Good use of space.

More usefulness to come over there, just for you Miba. :-)
