To those that have seen it, what did you think of it?
I thought it was extremely kick ass! the "professional" critics don't know what they're talking about, although I never really pay attention to "pro" critics, only regular peoples reviews.

SPOILER WARNING
--------------------------------------
AHNULD!!!!!!
ya 80s armold was great
loved the movie, totally b a
Yeah I thought it wasnt bad, the part where Arnold comes out was the best for sure. I wish they would have used the original Terminator score more tho, i love that theme.
I agree the orignal score would have been better.
I damn near freeked out when I realized I was looking at Arnold... ESPECIALLY that they did his original Terminator hair - kriffin awesome touch!
I thought the only part that seemed off was John's total melt down over sacrificing the prisoners to win the war. It's all out war ppl, do you win said war and save the rest of man kind? or don't kill the unknown number of people trapped behind enemy lines where you have no idea whether or not you can even get CLOSE to saving them? True, it's a very hard choice to make, but the easy choices kinda got vapped when the nukes fell. I understand that his rescue mission was required so he could save his father and therefore himself, but they tried to mask those intentions with a little moral triade *mixed with a little BushBash for old time's sake - stay the course? Interesting choice of words for Their situation.* I think the situation would have rolled more smoothly if he/somebody in his team had figured out that the signal was really a decoy/trap, and that command thought he'd turned weak because of Kyle's capture. Just my thoughts
Other then that, I think the movie was made of total KICK A@@!!! Me and my vod I saw it with are going back again tonight with our GFs and vode from school. Gonna have to gag myself to keep the Arnold scene secret :P
dude he was flipping out because if they kill kyle reiss before john sends him back to 1984 then john will never be born, thus undoing evvvvvvverything
that's why he gives the "WE ARE ALL DEAD IF WE STAY THE COURSE" speech, but no one would believe him if he told them the truth
here's a little fact: that wasn't the Governator come out of retirement. they digitally pasted his face from the first Terminator film onto a new bodybuilder's body.
yeah i knew that, and you could absolutely tell

Yeah I thought everyone knew.
But anyways, at Ralin, I totally agree with Conner's choice to save the prisoners. If they would have nuked the Skynet HQ and killed the human prisoners they would have been just like the machines. The war may have been over, im not sure if it would have really been over (assuming the signal wasnt a trap) but humans would have fallen into the same pattern that put them in this apocalyptic situation in the first place.
PS: I freaking love how they show how Conner gets that cool scar over his eye. Ive always remembered it from T2 when they show him older and thought it was awesome. The that an Arnold T-800 gave it to him adds to the coolness.
it was very obvious hehe
coolest parts
---------------------
-conners scar origins
-ahnuld cameo
-mototerminators
-dog fighting hk's
-magnetic landmines
-submarine HQ
-tripping the mototerminator
-harvester
-role reversal with the moto's chasing the tow truck (reversal of a scene in t2)
-dropships deploying harvester and HK's
-many quotes
agree? disagree? add?
I think the whole movie was the best part to be honest.

lol, I was thinking the same thing. :P Plus the Arnold cameo was great, even if it was him digitally.
Awesome movie, just saw it. I don't know who that actor is, Marcus, mmmmmmm. I think I'm in love. ;)
That aside, good eye there Regimas, I think you noticed some interesting details. I'm thinking about getting the DVD, but I don't know. I think I'll view the whole series again first.
Just watched it, and liked it a lot. The part with arnold was so cool. I wonder if they will make a sequel...

I thought the ending meant they would.
I am not surprised. You're probably right. I thought they did make it sound like there was still much to come.
definitely, as far as i know they have bale signed for 2 more
theyre just gonna pretend like the 3rd one never happened

lol, couldn't blame them.
I have to say, after hearign everyone bash it I wasn't expecting much. But I personally thought it was REALLY good. I mean it was definately better than the third one, but I really thought this movie was really good. I didn't understand all the hate for it.
And I loved Sam Worthington (Marcus Wright). I mean...c'mon! He was...somethin' alright. :D

I'd exercise caution, or at least, I will. I REALLY don't want to see Terminator go the way of Robocop.
And no, I haven't seen it. I don't get to see movies very often (twice a year on average), so I wait for something to really grab my attention before going.
