The Star Wars website announced last year that Topps was going to be releasing some new Star Wars Galaxy 4 trading cards, for those that are into collecting trading cards.

Well, they've finally begun to leak out onto eBay.

And there are more than a few Fett specific related cards in this series, this time.

You'll note that, once again, the artist sketch cards are running up into the hundreds of dollars already.  Wiht this new set, they also have the "Red" series of cards that are only in packs sold at Target.

The only "red" series Fett card I've seen out, so far, is just this Mandalorian Skull emblem.  Though I'm sure there will be tons more trickling out fairly soon.

However, I know that artist Cat Staggs posted on her Facebook blog and Deviant Art gallery about some red series sketches and regular sketch cards she's done that have a few Fett related cards in there, so keep an eye out for those.

Looks to be a very big comeback for the Star Wars Galaxy series of cards this year.

I've been seeing a lot more of the Galaxy Series 4 cards around on eBay and in stores lately.  There's quite a few of the regular cards with Fett in them, but there's also some harder to get foil cards.  Specifically the Gold, Silver, and Bronze character cards.  There have been a lot of sketch cards popping out that I've been finding, as well.  Of course, they're all super expensive, so I'll probably never end up getting them all (if any).  I have no idea how to find out how many are made of each sketch card.  Most of them are being listed as 1 in a series of 1, but I really don't believe that means it's one of a kind and there are no others out there like that.

Still, I noticed someone on Facebook with a really neat profile picture of an Animated Boba Fett sketch card.

Turns out that he's the artist of the card.  His name is Jamie Snell.  He has a lot of Fett, Mandalorian, Republic Commando, and Stormtrooper specific sketch cards that he's done.  They can be found here in his Galaxy Series 4 cards gallery.

Note the Kal Skirata and even a Deathwatch Mandalorian card.  Very nice.  So far, I think he's done the most Mandalorian and Trooper specific sketch cards that I've seen.

**Side note**--He also has a neat pic of "Kal'buir" and Omega Squad on his Deviant Art Gallery, as well as Wad'e Tay'haai.

Of course, artists like Cat Staggs, Tom Hodges, and Joe Corroney also have some Fett and Mandalorian cards out in the new series, if you're lucky enough to find them.

There are also ALOT more of the red series cards available now, as well.

http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&catref=C6&from=R40&dfsp=2&satitle=star+wars+galaxy+4+red&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sabfmts=1&sacqyop=ge&sacqy=&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&sabdlo=&sabdhi=&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=2%26fsoo%3D2

Snatch them up while you can.  I know our Target stores aren't putting the cards in the back where the figures are, but up front near the cash register isles.  There's usually an isle at one of the ends that have baseball and gaming cards and so forth.  That's where they've been stashing the ones I've found, so far.

Also, there is an updated webpage on the Topps site for the cards list.

So. good luck, and have fun.

I've bought a handful of packs. I've only found a few Boba-centric pieces, but the ones I've seen are nice. I've been getting a good amount of Jango.

Hey, right on.  Welcome to the boards, dude.  I just happened to catch your card art on your Facebook page the other day.  I have Tom Hodges and Cat Staggs on my buddy list on there and saw your profile picture through one of their posts.  Of course, being a Fett fan, the artwork immediately peaked my interest.  Great stuff man.  Love the Commando work on the Deviant Art site.  Keep it up.  Have a good one and have fun on here.  Later.

Cujo - Spiker was fun. Never drew him before. Jaxxon was fun as well. I love this set since we could do the EU stuff. Movies, books, comics, and games. So it was wide open. I wanted to hit the other characters that were not a main in the 6 movies. And I will be at Comic-con. I didnt get an artist alley table, but I will have a home base at Matt Busch's table. He and I and a few others are doing a Beatles tribute book together.

Sadriel- Thanks for the kind words and promoting me over here. I was tempted to make a post with my art awhile ago when I registered but didnt want to look like I was bragging or anything. :)

Ragelion, maybe you can help me with a question about the artist sketch cards that are included in the Topps cards packs.  I know on the back it says 1/1 of a series, but are these one of a kind sketch cards, or did Topps make multiple copies of each sketch card?  Thanks for the help, dude.  Later.

Sadriel,

Sorry for the lateness. For the sketch cards, there is no multiple prints of it. We get blank cards on the front and they all say the same on the back. Now some artist may draw the same thing more than once. I try not too.  But they are still the one and only card like that.

Thanks for the help, dude.  That explains why so many of them are kind of pricey on eBay, I guess.  Wish I'd actually got a few of them now.
