I could tell you what a Commando likes to eat. :P

So it'd probably be the same or something similar. Like Uji cake. Anything sweet Im sure a clone would love.

Meat is murder...... tasty tasty murder.

Well since they have tasted nothing but the most basic rations I highly doubt they would have a favourite food besides food itself.  When you're out inn the wilderness without food anything tastes like heaven.

Mmmm, Grilled Garlic Tiger Prawns and scampi :P

lol, I'm sure they'd love that! I had that this evening with my mum and stepdad!

According to *cough* K. Traviss *cough* clones prefer eating and drinking extra sweet because of their high metabolism and accelerated aging. So, uj cake, candy, ice cream... as long as there's lots of it.

Oh don't worry I wasn't correcting your spelling - I just type in italic all the words in mando'a, out of habit.

The proper name for that cake is Uj'alayi :P

That's fascinating. I need to read up on those Karen Traviss books more.

I get the impression then(returning to the topic) that Greek Yogurt would be out of the question for the clone troopers.

ummm....pot.....kettle....black?

I would agree with AA, I think they would like meats a lot, and other things high in protein. In the KT novels, it says Ordo's favorite food is roba sausage.

And I also think they would enjoy sweet things, because there is a big difference between cake and their tasteless ration cubes.

i dont think they had much choice on what to eat, I'd think they all got crapy military food and rations when they're in the feild

yeah, they don't really have a favourite because of that they have to concentrate on fighting and dying mostly... :/

so yeah, but I think they like some simple foods, like biscuits, crisps, and meat.

And obviously water. A lot o' it :D

Yeah, concentrating on dying is a good way to spend your time......they really don't spend that much time thinking about just fighting, greenie. Read the Republic Commando novels.

Karen Traviss is from the UK, so you should understand some of the British terms she uses (somewhat rarely)

I agree with everyone who says they'd love sweets (I know in the Republic Commandos books, it's mentioned that Delta squad likes sweets alot) and possibly even fruits, to keep up with the sweet trend.

Also, I think they'd like those Quaker rice cakes too. They're about as tastless as the rations probably are, but for some reason, I can imagine them liking them.

Yah Kal always gives them candied nuts and stuff, so I guess they would like sweet foods alot.

I think they like sweets because it's an extremely rare treat from the every day food

Anything but ration cubes. Uj cake and candied nuts are mentioned, and warra nuts for Fi, after the spaceport op.

It mentioned in Karen Travis's book Republic Commando that they like dried fruit.

Anything sweet. Their accelerated aging gives them REALLY fast digestive systems. They crave carbs. In Karen Traviss's Republic Commando series they loved candied nuts.

And don't forget that yummy, sticky-sweet uj cake! 'Twas a tradition among Skirata and his boys! ;-)
