It's kind of an  old pic...

I went to Nassau, Bahamas and Key West, then back to Miami... we were supposed to get to another Island, Cococay... but.. the weather was osik and we ended up sailing on through. Better then being home though :)

Well here's one of me (I'm on the right) I'm 30 weeks pregnant and Shelly is 36 weeks:

Beautiful dog Daenna, what breed is he? Or is he a mix? He's a good mix if he is one.

It's a Japanese Akita, people often ask me if he's a mix thinking he's a lab or golden retriever mixed with a husky or malamute.... But no, he's a pure breed akita ;D These dogs are headstrong, stubborn, fierce and prone to fighting with other dogs. They also love children, cuddling and "bear-hugging".

Thank you Terra (hugs) I will make time to send a message tonight :D I have got far too much stuff on at the moment. I barely ever get a moment to relax at all. It is a shame my mother in law does not help (LOL I call her the psycho in law) She would not even look after the younglings during the day for a few hours so Devil boy and I could go to the cinema (the last time we went out together was when we went to see Revenge of the Sith.

Awe thank you about the picture (hugs) Getting good, clear is one of the advantages of having a DSLR. You can get some really great pictures with them. It also helps that I am now got used to taking self portraits with a big camera. Lastly taking lots of pictures and editing helps. Lots of pictures mean there is more chance of finding a picture that you are happy with and the editing meant I was able to crop this image to cut out distractions, Converting it to black and white also helped it. I hope that helps.

I know what you mean about taking lots of pictures. Myself with my little digital cam I need to take like 30 and more just to get one good. Or hundreds to get a few. That thing costed me like 200 but never gets as close for quality or clearness as yours. Most of my pics are blurry, even if I do a lot of efforts to not move. Not that big a blur but enough to make it difficult to get something nice bigger than, let's say, magazine size.

Most of my family and friends are fans of your pics now :D Don't stop! :D:D

The DSLR that I have got is a budget one. The only reason we could afford it was because it was a discontinued model (we got it from Ebay for £300, it was originally 799 when released) I love it though. LOL it may sound funny but it does feel better having a DSLR (I have an Olympus E-510 )

Hehe I know what you mean. There has been times when I have taken 100 picturtes just to get one that I am happy with.

LOL tonight I have 2GB of pictures to look through to sort out which of todays pictures that I like.

Hmm....managed to find a couple from one of our more entertaining days up here.

We call them the 'worm pits'. I know I look half-retarded but hey, the sun was in my eyes. Anyway this attractive picture of yours truly made it onto the cover of our school's rook week dvd, I was quite flattered.

This one was taken the same day, but post-worm pits. We went on a jolly little run through a nearby river for awhile, each lugging a stupidly heavy rock that was supposed to serve a reminder of what we'd worked for - most of em get used as door stops. I'm the one at the front of the line blocking that golf cart deal.
