December 2, 2008 5:34 pm # (i know you guys hate armor topics with out pictures but i thought i would try it anyways)
a few friends and myself have decided to start a small team of armor builders called Ragnarök studios.
and in doing so we have set some long term and short term goals.
keep in mind these are not just crazy dreams, we have the means and the money to do all these things it is just that they take a very long time to build.
so the following is some things (in order) that we wish to accomplish in the next 3 years. the ones nearer to the top are nearer to completion.
-mandalorian armor-4 sets
-Master chief helmet
-odst helmet-4
-army of two costumes-2
-iron man helmet
-mortal kombat masks-4
-predator helmet
-master chief suit
-Gears of war suits-5
-Gears of war fan film
-Ragnarök airsoft suit-2
-Iron man mark 1 full metal suit
With luck and research, these things will be able to be reproduced and sold by 2011
if there is any major progress on any of these goals they will be posted here.
wish us luck :D

December 2, 2008 7:08 pm # AWESOME name, man! I love it. Can't wait to see everything--they all would be great.
Doubt ODST helmets would be cheap to sell, but I will definitely want to look at them completed. ODST's RULE.
Hey, have you played Too Human? Its Norse based, so I was wondering.

-i can make 2 different kinds of odst, one that takes me a night to make( its not too detailed)
and one that takes me a few weeks
the low detail one would be dirt cheap, for those who would just modify it to make it better.
never played too human, looked okay, and your the only one to understand the name :D

sure thing, we are far from the best at what we do, but with some practice, we can make some great things and sell them to ordinary people who don't have thousands to spend on armor.....coughNightmare armor studioscough cough
and soon we can make tutorials on how to do all this stuff....once we work out the kinks..

Only one so far. :) Ragnarok in Norse mythology is the end times, the final battle between the frost giants and the gods of Asgard. Like, Armageddon, or the apocalypse for the Norse. I should've looked at this topic earlier to comment on it. Anyways, it's an EPIC (in more ways than one) name, Regimas. And I really wanna see what you guys come up with with your armour sets (judging by previous ones, they are going to be amazing)
Due to maintenance problems, the light at the end of the tunnel will not be in operation today. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
December 3, 2008 4:01 am # Knew Ragnarok vaguely, basically what MA said, which is why I mentioned Too Human--Ragnarok plays a part in it. Its an amazing game, by the way. (I recommend renting it).
That's why I love the name, sounds cool, and even cooler when you know what it is.

i have an odst helm about half done, and the gears armor is well underway
right now we have 2 expert armor makers and we are training another one now, hopefully we can get some new
recruits in the next few years, their hard to find though
(I like the name too :D)

December 3, 2008 4:11 am # You're the first person on here to really get into armor building for more than just yourself, and in such varied areas, that most of us want to see most of what you get done. I know I am.
PICTURES!!! ( :p )

January 7, 2009 2:58 pm # Well, one ODST helmet is cut and glued. Wisconsin is a cold place in winter so we cant fiberglass till spring.
The COG armor was.... underestimated :( But Regimas bought cog tags, and built a Mark 1 Boltock.
Reg just got his X box 360 sooooo.................. he's kinda indisposed. We will try to post pics as we build
Sorry if I have not been on in a while but we have been pretty busy with school and some family problems.
I would like to see some request of small projects peaple want to see made. Got to keep me busy with something :)
Church... when I die I want you to have my orange juice!
January 12, 2009 11:50 pm # Awesome plan there, :D
Did you get the name registered officially? It's something cheap to do and I believe your parents could assume it for you until you're old enough to own a business. If I were you I'd check if there's a minimum age to own a business name, and I'd make things true and legal.
I won't say "good luck" but "good success", because you really sound like you know where you're going. Can't wait to see your progress! :)
Cast iron and treadmills? Oh yes. Still sculpting me to what I really want to be, and I love it. :)
January 13, 2009 3:50 am # thanks terra
all your support helps
:D
(we just had a major setback on the cog armor, its back to the drawing boards :()
