sounds very cool, maybe if its succesful they'll make horror themed Star Wars games with a little more violence to them :D
A most excellent cover. Will definitely look into this.
Wow...unexpected for sure. Will have to look into.
I will get it and read it when it's out.
Guess it was only a matter of time... ;)
Awesome. If it comes here Im gonna buy it. No matter are the texts finnish or english on it. ;)
Now that's...... different. I'll have to look up the story line before I'll commit to paying for it, but I'm really curious
I always crave and hunger for more books to collect. This is good. Will certainly read. (I don't consider it a choice :P)
Looks interesting... I might have to buy it =]
Nice cover...hmmm. Love the...blaster hole? On the forehead.
Yeah, I have no idea what the subject of a book with a broken stormie helmet would be.
They haven't released a plotline yet, the cover is just a teaser.
And teased we certainly are...
;)
Try...not...to...think.......Arrrggghhhh! We have to know! Do they want all they're fans to die of expectation before it even comes out? LOLOL
hmmmm...SW horror sounds intriguing, but i don't know what's going.
Ill reserve judgment.
Plot description is now available: http://www.starwars.com/vault/books/news20090219.html#rss
Oooo, zombies. I can't wait to see how this will tie in to canon.
this book is certainly getting a buzz around it.
but is not really star wars first approach at horror...
EU has had mind witches". and lets not forget the "bando gora"
i would be interested to see what lucas has to say about this book concidering everything he is personally involved in has been kiddy friendly- at least lately.
they also released the next Darth Bane title, with a summary to go:
Darth Bane: Dynasty of Evil
The Sith are gone -- all except Darth Bane, creator of the "Rule of Two," which states that the new Sith Order will consist of only two: a Master and an apprentice. But how does one train an apprentice whose ultimate goal -- and proof of success -- must be to kill the Master?
Darth Bane is beginning to suffer the effects of drawing heavily on the dark side of the Force for so many years. At the same time, he's beginning to doubt his apprentice, Zannah, because she hasn't yet tried to kill him and take his power. Is she weak? Unworthy of being his apprentice? When he learns of an ancient Sith artifact that might hold the secret to immortal life, he heads out in search of it alone. But Zannah is anything but weak, and now that she has glimpsed his worries, she knows that the time is ripe to take him on. The Forces of evil will clash in spectacular battle, with the future of the Sith hanging in the balance!
Oh, yes, the Bando Gora were pretty freaky! There's also Anzati, which aren't too scary, but still.
And, on the Bane book, I'm sooo excited for it. I love the Bane books.
Hhmmm...looks pretty good. I'll have to look into it :) The cover art itself is enough to peak my interest
YES! ZOMBIES!
This is exactly what Star Wars needs in the midst of all this kiddie stuff: Brain Devouring Zombies!
I'll be buying this one as soon as it comes out.
Pretty scary. :D Raises lots of SW questions for me.

New update, title has been changed to Death Troopers, two words.
eeeurgh. It looks freakish. But cool
is it about zombie stormtroopers with guts and blood oozing out of their armour and necks?
:P
;) disgusting, but yet fascinating
I hope it's Trooper-centric. Regardless of who's killing who.
trooper centric?
That means that the book revolves around the troopers...like the story focuses on the troopers and not really anyone else.
So, since this has been out a while now, what does everyone think?

I found Han to be a useless character, and he didn't really have a point to be there. Also while the book's beginning and middle were great and awesome the ending sorta lagged and he didn't seem to really know how to end it.
So is this a must read or a must skip title. How do you guys rate it.
Read it. Don't have to buy it, just read it once.

I agree completely. Especially about the Han thing.
Don't skip it, not unless horror/zombies and stuff isn't really your thing. But you don't really have to buy it unless you collect sw books in general. Borrowing from a library or friend would be just fine otherwise.
Thanks I will have to check it out
