Topic: Fanboys

i'm sure some of you have heard about the upcoming star wars fan film, Fanboys, about how a couple of SW fans try to break in Skywalker Ranch to get a sneak peek of Episode I. well, if not, then http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0489049/ . so, if yall have been keeping track on it, some company, AKA Darth Weinstein, had taken over the previous script, and made major changes, which upset SW fans. but, after like a year of whining and complaining (like we all do best), they have agreed to use the original script for Fanboys. http://www.aintitcool.com/node/37414 for more.

lol the movie seems like it will be great! They've been working on it for a LONG time (like 8 years) so it had better be good.

Wow...that looks alot better than I had hoped. At least I'll have something to watch while i dont watch the new Street Fighter movie.

I went with the Mandalorian Mercs as an armor wrangler for my clan (as I don't have my own custom set made yet) to the premiere in Beverly Hills last night, and it was a BLAST! Ernie (producer) and Kyle (director) were so awesome, and loved having us there.

Unfortunately, they weren't able to get us in to see the screening, so I'll have to wait until it comes out on Friday to see it. I'm lucky that it's showing at one of my local theaters, and I hope that it gets enough success for a wide release, so that all the rest of the fanboys/fangirls around the country can see it!

Btw, the movie was hilarious. I went and saw it Saturday night. Please, please, please let it go to wide release so that everyone else can see it before it goes to dvd!

i'll have to use one of my other links to watch it. i would love to go see it in theaters, but now isn't the best time to spend money on long island.

It's not the best time to spend money in Tokyo either but the movie will probably not even make it here so if anyone knows of "an alternative" way I can see it please let me know.

HA! That was great, very true. I'm glad to know im a fanboy to the core. Although at the section with the nephews both wanting to be Vader, I woulda dressed one as A New Hope variant and the other as ESB or ROTJ variant...guess im a little too much eh?

oh, i discovered how deep a fanboy i really am today at I-CON.

I havn't seen it yet, but Im going to watch it on DVD soon.

seriously if you guys know enough lines from the OT, you will be able to catch on the lines pretty quickly. this is a funny movie.

it is by far the best B+ movie i have ever seen but i feel the love story was not paid attention to enough and that made the story off and a bit out of place, but yes its amazing. Its on surf the channel if your looking for it.

This movie was awesome.  Made me want to tour the Skywalker Ranch. I wish I had a Van like that. R2 on the top.  Oh and hitting the Trekkies with the pressed ham was a classic.

I wanted to watch that, but I cant buy it, find anyone who owns it, and it wasn't on in theaters. Because my comy takes so long to load, and cant just youtube it.
