Topic: Mr lucas you messed up BIG TIME

I really do .. Think M r Lucas ,miss out on a great story in the Star Wars Saga...by not really having BoBa Fett growing -up and becoming
the Hunter he  turned out to be etc,,so many lost parts in the Saga,,It seems to Bats.. he just wanted it to end ,..more or less just wash
his Hands of the whole Saga..and it did give him a bit of a surprize ,of how popular Boba Fett became,,all the Fans got was a pat on the
Head as if to say     I'll make a new Hero .   .in Jango Fett,,
O f course it's a bit too late now,,because the Actors are getting a bit long in the Tooth tp make another Movie ,,but what could have been
done !!! such a Loss.

I'm actually glad they didn't show anymore of Boba's past. I liked the mystery and I think the prequels kind of wrecked that. Fine have another Mando but they didn't have to make them a direct relative of Boba. Seemed too convenient to me.

well Boba will be in the live-action show, but probably just as a quick little on-screen debut, hopefully nothing major to affect his past.

I'll grow up and direct my own saga of movies entitled "The Fetts" or "The Fett Line" or "The Legacy" or something like that. How would you guys like that? :D

They are planning on making him the main character; giving him a new story, and history behind the Fett name.

I would have to agree to in the sense that I like to use my own imagination when it comes to Boba Fett.

Me and my brother were discussing Boba vs Jango the other day, and we both agreed that the whole story line could have been tons better in regards to Boba and Jango.

For example:  Boba and Jango were very close friends, they went and did the clone deal, Boba ended up seeing Jango beheaded, and his hatred for Jedi's grew ever since then.

Not perfect, but would have been a little cooler IMO.

If he is the main character in the show, they should do it Tales of the Bounty Hunters style, where he took the name of Jaster Mereel, Journeyman Protector, and escapes from prison. They should make him the most BA character on TV, kind of like a Star Wars Jack Bauer Mandalorian. Then I'd be ok as long as he kills at least 5 people with his hands each episode, and shoots even more.

I soooo agree!! I love to make up my own stories about people, but then again I would like a little more details to go by. :)

Boba is not the main character, the show is said to focus mainly on EU characters (as in guys not in the movies), but interaction with movie characters will occur.

Ya I kinda expected that since the books do the same thing. :|

I think one of the coolest thing in Boba Fett is that [i]he isn't the main character[i] (as someone already said). I might wouldn't be a fan of him if he would be a character like Luke.

I think it would be nice to see a show about his adventures in bounty hunting, but I have to agree on pretty much leaving his past out of it. Getting to know him as he is as an adult would be better than knowing a whole bunch of details about his past. The only exception to this would be seeing tidbits of his training and friendships - that would be interesting. His mystery is what attracts me as a fan, and I'd like to keep that.

If they're going to have someone play his part in a live-action, I would absolutely recommend the actor who played him in "Wrath of the Mandalorian" (linky) - he did an excellent job, and his voice acting was very accurate.

But but... they're already doing something like that! You know "Mandalorian Legacy"
    and I don't think that guy on "Wrath of the Mandalorian" was that good.... it's that thing on Youtube right? No offence of course MossNoth :)

Meh. No offence taken. I thought he was good. You didn't, and that's your opinion. :) I'm not the type to get all hurt just because you don't agree with me. That would just be silly.

Yah but I like to say it because I have a habbit of taking things the wrong way so I try not to say anything that could sound harsh :P

I have made this argument too many times to count, but I will make it once more.

Why do you hate Jango?
If it is because you think you could have made Boba's past better your are wrong.
I would most likely hate what ever you made, and even if I didn't hate it others would. All you have to do is look at any Boba Fett story, KT's is hated by me and everyone else who thinks Boba should stay hard and tough while loved by those who want to see another side of Fett. Lucas' stories are hated by those who didn't want to know about Boba's past, while loved (or at least tolerated) by those who wanted more of his past shown.
So if you did make it "better" it would only be better for a few. You can never please everyone.

If you hate Jango because he's "week" just look at how Boba died in the movies. I have read the Bounty hunter wars and know that he comes back, but that is only because some chap wrote it, if someone wrote that it was only a clone who was killed by Windu and that is why Jango fought so bad then Jango would be alive too.

If you hate Jango because it removes the mystery of Fett all I have to say is someone would have done it sooner or later and they would have done a much worse job of it, If KT wrote it she would have started Boba off owning a flower shoppe before finding out that bounty hunting payed more but required the same skills or what not.
(sorry if this sounds harsh on KT but I thought Boba going out shopping and eating nuts was a little out of character.)

Point is that Jango is hear to stay and we are better off for it.
So please stop complaining and just enjoy what we have. Or just ignore the things you do not like rather then telling everyone that Lucas is stupid for making one thing you do not like.

As far as this new TV thing goes. I'll be happy with what I get....but I do hope I get More kick face flame'n Boba action....and no stupid smugglers to ruin it.

Once We Were Warriors ,,I see him beating that Woman in that Movie
And Second, he had a BIGGER part ,and we saw more of him the Star Wars saga.

The new SW series will go as follows (Per SW Insider) Season 1 will be about Boba Fett starting after Ep 2. Season 2 will continue the Fett storyline and start a new series as well, wookiees if I recall but dot quote me on that. Season 3 will start a third series that will run along with the other two series (Yes, 3 SW stories at once).

As for Jango, I enjoy him almost as much as Boba. Then again, I enjoy anything Mando'ade.

I liked Jango a little more than Boba when Episode II came around, 'cause I thought it was Boba, but with different armor. Then I learned it was his "dad." Now I am totally pro-oldschool, but Jango didn't die as sucky as Boba "did."

I don't know if everyone here has seen our post in the film section, but we are currently making a large scale fan film about Boba essentially growing up and becoming the bounty hunter that we know from ESB.  The film will be titled The Mandalorian Legacy.  We have a website, myspace and facebook.
