Well, Sand People are naturally aggressive, xenophibic, and extremely territorial. They also hate Settlers because they feel they invaded their land.

How does destroying all the Sith and leaving only Jedi bring balance to the force? Doesn't balance mean an equality of opposing forces?

They certainly do not make that clear. What KIND of balance are they talking about anyway. That is a mystery.

It IS a mystery, as even Yoda himself in Ep. III mutters that perhapes the prophecy was missinterpreted.

What I want to know is HOW THE HELL the fist thought 'Balance' sounded like a good idea and why.

Yeah, I've often wondered how ALL the Jedi could be SO thick as to think that "balance" meant "no Sith", which they already thought was how things were. Kinda a poor choice of words in the plot.

How is Anakin "redeemed" to the Light Side of the Force by simply deciding to kill the Emperor over his own son?

Vader killed BILLIONS of people. He murdered a whole planet for cryin' out loud! How can Anakin possibly be redeemed by one simple act after all the atrocities that he had committed over the decades?

All this death and destruction was necessary for Anakin to "bring the Force back into balance"?

Because he killed his master and destroyed the sith. Technically he didn't kill the planet Tarkin did.

I like the way your minds are working... with that whole chosen one thing. its just that I think I read somewhere reliable that Lucas said that Anakin was the chosen one. Not Luke and thus certainly not Leia. Although the case for Luke and Leia are stronger to me.

I don't think even LUCAS knows how the chosen one is......

And good one with 'What's Sidious' Sith story?' TW, the hints left in Ep. III really got me interested in his early days

* Why doesnt Boba just clone himself and add his brain into it so he may live on?
* In ANH..........why did Ben Kenobi say he didnt remember anything about  R2D2??

The 'Bounty Hunter Wars" and many other works were done before Ep. II, back when it was generally accepted that Boba was a deranged *in my opinion* former member of the Journyman Protectors.  Ep. II made that story about Slave one, and most of the tales of Boba's past either non-canon or miths that Boba purposly spread about himself to misslead everyone as to his real origin.

It's still possible that he was a Journyman Protector or one of those tales MAYBE.  He had 20 years to do stuff between Ep. II and Ep. V, but the chances are less likely, and most pre-Ep. II material about him should be read with some level of skepticism

Why didn't they just sew Anakin's arm back on?

~It was severed cleanly and cauterized instantly below the elbow. (according to Timothy Zahn, a lightsaber's actual cutting surface is microscopic in area... so there was almost NO tissue damage or scar tissue formation at all) It was also lying right next to him on the floor.

~The injury occurred in a relatively sterile desert environment.

~He was rescued by Yoda mere minutes after the injury occurred, who could've used the force to help necessitate the wound's healing.

~Clone medical units arrived on the scene immediatly, with state-of-the-art combat triage to stabilize the patient on the ground until he could be sent to an orbiting medical frigate, and finally to the galaxy's finest medical center.

~Padme must have been turned off by his freakish metal arm, at least to some degree.

~If they can attach cybernetic limbs (indeed, create whole cybernetic bodies), then the surgury to reattach an existing limb should have been a breeze. It should have been the first, most logical option.

~Rehab for the limb could be overseen by the Council itself. (lightsaber training, Force projection, etc.)

~As the "Chosen One", wouldn't the Council prefer Anakin as whole as possible? If "everything" depends on him, wouldn't they spare no expense in his healing?

Now, I know the answer is that Anakin is beginning to lose his humanity on the path to becomming Darth Vader, but it's like the Jedi actually went out of their way to attach a mechanical arm, instead of reattaching his real arm.

Maybe it was for combat purposes?

Like in the clones wars toon version, Anikan reaches into somekinda disruptor field and crushes the power source of a CIS factory.

Also he can lose the limb multible times with out the tramatic pain.

He is also has an afinity for mechanical things. Maybe he requested it so he could tinker with it when ever he wanted to?

Though I admit he could of just covered it with sythflesh to improve his 'relationship' with padme, that part doesnt make any sense.

Ya got me... a blaster bolt can't be traced at all. In a way, the more exotic and rare (being available on only one planet) your weapon is, the easier it might be to trace. And the whole point of hiding on Kamino is it's very secrecy to the galaxy.

And why couldn't Obi-Wan or Anakin sense the incoming sabredart? There was certainly enough ill intent (which is supposed to be a big factor for the Jedi Reflex) behind it's motive to kill Zam. Jango could've just as easily shot all three of them, as oblivious to the situation as they seemed to be.

After all the trouble they had just went through chasing down Zam, they never even bothered to chase Jango as he rocketed off... he couldn't have been more than a quarter mile away at that moment, alot closer than Zam was as Anakin tracked her through the skylane traffic and all over the city, if you consider where the chase started (Padme's bedroom) and where it ended (the alley behind the Outlander Club) without losing track of her. In my opinion, Jango was close enough to have been Force-Grabbed in mid flight, but they gave him almost no regard. After he flew off they turned their backs to an obviously very lethal enemy intent on murdering a Senator (not to mention Anakin's love interest).

The Jedi Council should've hired a Mandalorian to solve their mysteries for them...

If the Jedi Council believed the Sith to be EXTINCT for a millenium, and balance can only be brought upon the Force by the Chosen One destroying the Sith, then why did they feel the Force was out of balance in the first place? By their own reasoning, hadn't their prophecy been fulfilled a thousand years ago, at the Seventh Battle of Ruusan?

Or was the idea of that insipid Jedi pretty-boy, Valenthyne Farfalla (even his name is annoying) possibly being the Chosen One too bitter of a pill for them to swallow?

This is a valid point. Yet somehow doesn't seem to fit, seeing that the Sith weren't really extinguished. That happens, more officially in RotJ with the deaths of Vader and Sidious. They were the only known SIth in the galaxy at that time. Bane was known as a Sith, and had been sighted after the thought bomb had gone off. There were several signs that pointed to him living, but the Jedi of the time choose to dissmiss them.

Dengar gave up hunting, IG-88 died with the death star 2, his only remaining shell (no sentience) became a bodyguard. As far as I know, 4-LOM and Bossk just faded into obscurity. It's a big galaxy.

According to Tales of the Bounty Hunters

4LOM and Zuckuss sided with the rebelion, IG-88 planed a droid takeover, part of him became the deathstar but blew up before he could start the takeover and Boba killed the others, Bossok, not sure, and Dengar married a blue chick or something like that

I think there are two factors with Han not paying Jabba back. In the Han Solo trilogy, it  has Han, deperate for credits beacuse the raid on the y'landa til didn't go as he planned, with him making a lot. So he took a big  spice smuggling job for Jabba. The imperials were hot on his tale near the Maw, so he jetosoned the spice, with the intention of returning to pick it up. But when he returned it was gone. So Jabba held Han responsible for the loss of the spice, but was way more then Han had. Just when he's thinking of a way to try and make up the credits, Obi- Wan comes in and is looking for transport to Alderaan. So He gets waylaid by the Rebels, and he says something in ESB "I really have to go and pay off Jabba." which means to me that he finally had the credits, but not the oppertunity to pay him off.

SHORT ANSWER: He didn't have the money, and when he finally did have the money, he didn't have the time to get it there.

How did Boba keep Jango's head from falling out of the helmet?
Answere...
He DIDN'T!!!!
If you watch carfully right after his head is sliced off. When it's just about to hit the ground, you can see the shadow of the helmet. Then you can see how his head flew out of the helmet off in the other direction while his helmet hit the ground in-screen and rolled away. "Best to watch in super slow-mo." :)

Other Fett questions I don't know the answeres to...

1. Why does Slave 1 change colors?
Grey to Green to Blue to Green again to Yellow to Red???
2. How did Jango get big ol' Slave 1 through that asteriod tunnel when Obi-wan just barely got his little one-man fighter through.
3. Why did Boba have a skirt on when Vader said "we'd be honored if you would join us."? (it's not one of thows Mando things that come around the side and back, a kalma I think) anyway it's not one of those. Plus that's the only place he ever had it on!!! :P

I've heard a few answers, but let's face it... he DID have the money. The Rebellion paid him what he asked after he returned Leia to Yavin. The rebels had alot of money, which they used to equip themselves with a formidable arsenal. And as for not having time, because he was caught up in the rebellion, they could have easily sent a courier to Jabba to handle his debt for him. Jabba had alot of respect and patience for Han and his capabilities as a smuggler, and offered him a decent interest rate as well as the time he needed to work it off. And Jabba wasn't exactly known for his patience.

It's like Han thought he could just blow Jabba off, now that he had clout with the Rebels. It wasn't until years later, at Ord Mandell, that jabba put the scare into him.

I agree.

You can see his urgency to get the debt payed off there at the end of Ep. IV, and suddenly again, like a couple years later, he's in a rush to pay it off again at the beginning of Ep. V.  Two years is more then enough time to have made a side trip or have arranged for a trusted member of Jabba's company *Boba anybody?* to have come and picked it up.  So it's probably a case of Han thinking he's too big now for Jabba to needle at, and then getting a nasty surprise when a bounty hunter almost vaps him.

There is one thing to consider however.  Jabba WAS known as being a decent business partner before the movies in the Han Solo Trilogy books.  In those novels, it was asserted that Hutts can have drastic emotional/attitude swings when they advance in a growth stage.  It was right after his Special Edition Ep.IV appearance that he was supposed to have had one of those growth spirts I believe, and it put a real edge on the negative side of his nature.  So Han may have had the expectation that he could have got away with taking his time, but that change in attitude may have given Jabba a much shorter fuse on his patience.

However, it's been a while since I read the novels, and I think Han had a deathly fear then that Jabba was going to want his hide even then, so maybe I'm wrong..

Just food for thought on the subject, but in principal I think you're right ner vod
