What do you think are the most popular franchises worldwide.
This is not your favorite, it is what you think are biggest and most popular.
I think they are
1. Star Wars(Its has many sites like this and has lasted as good as ever for 30 years and is sill the most popular franchise of our/all- time)
2. Harry Potter(It is HUGE in Britain and Austrailia, much more than in US)
3. Batman(the Dark Knight really kicked it off)
4. Halo

Harry Potter (unfortunatly)
Barbie ( yuck)

-Boba Fett-
Pokemon, though I doubt many here are interisted in it (either due to being too "old", or because it might be uncool).
Super Mario Bros. If you don't know who the Mario Bros. are, you've lived under a rock for the past 28 years.
Naruto (Man, do I hate it though...)
Final Fantasy
Man, back in my prime I was the pokemon master. I could sing you the theme song, name all the pokemon (up to 150, when they started adding more I said forget it), what levels they evolve and learn moves and everything, and I spent amazingly depressing amounts of my 10-year old income on the pokemon trading cards.
Yep, those were the good 'ol days.

So could I, I could sing all the Poke Raps.
Biggest franchises...
Star Wars
Indiana Jones
Marvel in general
Harry Potter hype will come back once HBP comes out in theaters, would be in a few weeks but they pushed it to summer 2009.
DC in general

LOL. But seriously, everyone who played it could. It was the first RPG, and has more free-roam than most other games. And Draco's right about his, but he forgot about Sega.

OMG! I guess I am too old......
I was going to say Simpsons......

I don't think I forgot Sega, I just don't think they're as big as the others on my list. I don't know all that much about Sega, though.
Well, considering Sega is pretty much dead, I mean they don't produce any more console systems, I have an old Sega Gamegear (figure it's the pre-Gameboy Gameboy of the 80s).
Yeah, I wouldn't count Sega either. They barely even produce games anymore, and they're usually things for Nintendo (how...ironic XD). Their one original series barely even sees a game anymore, and they're not even that good.
Sega is alive and...semi-well. They still produce alot of the games made out, just like Atari does. They're still raking in the money.

They do produce alot of games still, and with a deal working with Nintendo, that is gauranteeing a future for a few more years. They also have deals wit Microsoft. But all hands down....it is dying.

I'll reluctantly count the Land Before Time series, due to the insane amount of sequels going on. Even though they're really, really crappy. Except for the original. The original is considerably not crappy by any stretch.
