What do you think should or should not be on our home page?

looks the same to me.

I think there needs to be more images Boba Fett.  Even something like the colours.

im w/ sev i like the bffc icon on the left of head banner but it would be cool to have maybe a cycling fett group of pics where the magnified icon image is.
otherwise i think it looks tight.

Yeah the front page is looking a bit boring without Boba or Mando pics on it. Needs colour! :P

I'm with Mel some bright colors would make the home page less dark.

Well the Boba colors ARE gray,dark green red and maybe orange. So there is not all that much to work with as far as "bright" colors go. what I would like to see is something like the DVD menu for ep2 where you have the Mando'a on the side scrolling up/down and ship console in the middle or if we could find a image of that part in ep5 when he is fallowing Han and you see Boba in his ship. I would love that! I might be able to get some of that stuff if yo want me to.

I don't know about rights and all that but seeing as we have a ton of pics and as we are not making a profit off it this should be ligit.
So if we could have that or a still. and maybe some war torn orange armor type look in the bottom right corner (there isn't a whole lot there right now) I think if we went with more of a metal/armor/ship theme for the main page it would look a little better than just different colors.

Sir, I, myself, think that it is a little bit to crowded. I think you could take some stuff off the home page.....and as far as bright colors go....I wish not to be blind when I view the home page...if we had a Boba Fett Fan Club coat of arms we could put it on the home page......some pictures of Boba must be on it! It wouldn't be right to be the BFFC and not have a picture of Boba Fett on the home page.....We don't want the home page too crowded to where it takes five hours just to open the home page.

I think it's fine. Maybe a little bit crowded. Definitely not in need of bright colors or anything with flash. Are we a serious fan site or a bright kiddie site?

Oh, also, I have discovered recently that I have the bright on my moniter turned up a lot more than normal people do, which might be part of my hatred of bright flashy colors.

I wouldn't mind having the things I've said on the page. If we only want a small change I would like a COOL picture of Boba. Maybe we could have a contest to see who can make the coolest/best Boba pic for the new homepage! *hint hint*
But I myself think that right now our hompage is rather boring. It doesn't have to have Flash or even bright colors, I would just like to have it be more than two shades of gray and a banner. Here is my idea of what the front page should be:
1. We had a pic of Boba
2. The  HUMOR and ASK JEREMY should be in their own place and not the 1st thing you see.
3. We would have a better background for the main page. Like the Armor or Ship theme.

What content do you want to see first-thing? News? Caption contest entries? More message board postings?

but i think the homepage is fine the way it is, just more Boba on the page!

I was talking about a picture of Boba that we would have on the front like everyone has been talking about.

I can understand if there are copyright issues with pictures of Boba or anything else. It would be nice and spiffy though if we could have one.... it would put our best face forward. Its a definate improvement i think, more organized. I still think its a little wordy myself, but I like how this set up really up plays the community. Which is the best part :D

i kindof agree with the replacing 'ask jeremy' and 'humor' on the homepage with some other resource

mccoy, note that Humor and Ask Jeremy are regularly updated features along with News. Other areas of the site don't fluctuate as much as those three.

How about a site logo? I know we have the site initials as a link to the homepage on every page, but its still not the same as a logo. It wouldn't HAVE to be a picture of Fett if we're not allowed to, or anything like that.

i dunno the little BFFC thing with that one backwards f is pretty neat
