oh crud. i can't remember that picture, but someone made female mando armor, it was horrible so don't really go looking for it (it's like yellow and pink). uhh try this picture. the armor i was talking to about before was a feeble attempt of the female armor in that picture.
Phoenix is making a set; might PM her
Don't think eBay will help you out on this one. I think I saw the set Fett's talking about, and it's about the only set i've seen for sale. Even if a better one gets put up for sale, you'd probably have to pay through the nose for it.
you might wanna talk to Novall Talon...
he's awesome when it comes to armor building.
heres a post w/ a pic about the fem set he built.
you may have already seen it tho.

Speaking of armor help, anybody have a hook-up for a decent looking yet cheap helmet antenna stock? COUGHwhereareyouRevCOUGH*
Regimas, if your using plastic then all you need to do is find a centerline at the chest plates where it meats her bust curve and bend it outward. This will give you a slight V in the armor which will fit a bust fairly well. Thats how most plastic female sets are done up.
Fiberglass is much more difficult. You have 2 ways you can do it, one is you can use the plastic piece as a base, sand it, then put bondo over it and sculpt a nice curve over the front. Thats about the easiest way to do it with fiber without sculpting your own mold and casting it.
Metal...well thats pretty darn advanced. Cold dishing you need to work the metal around the sides with your hammer moving inward. Gradually you pick up the hammering in the middle till you get a nice slope down then across. Hard to explain but takes months to become adept at.
I'd go with plastic. =)
thanks novall,
just the kind of expertise i was looking for.
im using plastic and i wanted to get another opinion, thanks again.
(did you get my application at mando. mercs?)
Noval is correct, my own armour and that I've made for others has a slight curve under the bust line so that the plates don't stick out at weird angles! It's not difficult to do.
alright, thanks for your help guys
I will help in any way that I can! :D
well i know you will,
it was partly your idea!
Im still a bit confused? where is the curve in the plate? Is there a way to make it more... moundy.. less pointy? ( and roomy)
The curve goes at the bottom of the plate where it starts to narrow, you heat the sintra and curve it inwards slightly until it fits nicely. I'll post some pics later if that helps.
