Topic: Question?

Say you want to create a thread about a topic but find its already got a topic for it but its last post was a year ago, can you post there,is it reviving dead thread even if i have a reason, is it spamming?

If you have a reason, it's perfectly acceptable, and even preferred, that you post in the original thread. If you revive it to post something stupid or irrelevant, then it's wrong. For example, if you posted in the thread to say something like, "LOL!" or "So true." or something, that's not a good reason. If you post to continue the conversation or to add more information to the thread, or if you think the topic would make a good thing to talk about now, sure, go ahead. :)

Especially if you're considering making a new thread for it, if you do that you'll just make me go searching for the original to link you to. ;)

yep, a little quick response there's no need for a post for it. if it was a longer thought-out response, then it would be fine.

I can say that I've added things to posts that were over a year old, because I wasn't here when they were originally posted. If its an actual comment or new idea to add. There's no issue with resurrecting the thread.

You gave an opinion. You didn't say anything that would create a new discussion.

instead of "lol, that is cool", a response to dead threads should be more useful, like maybe any updates on the topic, "cool indeed, so i heard that..." etc.

How do you put up new topics????? :(

you just need to go to the boards, then go to the section where you want to create a new topic, then click "create new topic" under search bar.

But make reasonable topics, then :P I bet you will ;)

Your screen should look just like mine, except it'll display your name and color scheme. And of course our monitors might not be the same size. But otherwise they'll be the same.
