I saw the trailer. The movie looks like it will be cool, but I never read the comics. Those muscular blue electric dudes look cool, though.

August 21, 2008 7:49 pm # News update: So, apparently 20th Century Fox is holding a lawsuit against Warner Bros., who is producing the picture, for copyright infringements. 20th Century Fox has owned the rights to make a film adaptation since 1991, where several times throughout the decade Watchmen was attempted to be put on the big screen. However, they would always be put on hold, and eventually dumped. Fox hasn't had any recent plans for making Watchmen yet again, so really I don't see why they're going balls-crazy over this. Talks back in 2005-6 for Watchmen were made, and Fox did nothing. I doubt Fox will win their lawsuit, as the movie is already post-production, and there would be millions of dollars just wasted.
